The 31-29 vote Saturday in Buffalo, Wyoming, by the state party central committee followed votes by local GOP officials in about one-third of Wyoming’s 23 counties to no longer recognize Cheney as a Republican.

31-29. WAY too close. Looks like the state committee could use 29 new members.

Being barred from running in party primary is extremely rare and I’m not sure how many states allow parties to do that. I believe in happened to a black democrat incumbent State Rep who moved right in....TN? GA?

Former State Rep. John DeBerry here in TN. He was stripped of his ability to run as a Dem because he was sane in his voting habits. Tried running as an Independent, but the district was too accustomed to voting for whatever had a “D” after their name.

Good, and can we do the same for the 19 RINOs that voted for the Xiden “infrastructure” bill?

How could she be anymore on Pelosi’s team? The big media use her to spew Pelosi rhetoric and then say, “See, even the Republicans agree with LGBTQP education, imprisoning the January 6th protestors forever, and spending extra trillions that we don’t have. A traitor is always more harmful than an individual enemy.

National RINOs will fund her though.

They already are. I believe most of her reelection fund came from outside of Wyoming.

Now if they could just get her kicked off any committees she is part of.

“Why so close?”

Because, despite being a conservative state, we still have a very large number of spineess RHINOs in the state. Despite all the talk, her loss in 2022 is not a sure thing, especially since we let people change their party one day to vote in a primary and change back to their old party the next. Something our weak Republican legislatures have failed to fix.

MAGA Patriots have only just begun taking over the GOP. It starts at the local district level, then county, then state, then state committee leaders get to vote for the national leaders like Ronna Romney McDaniels. Committee elections happen every two years and already, some state GOP committees are MAGA people.

If MAGA people are doing this in most every State, regardless of blue or red state, it will only take another 2-4 years to control the purse strings nationally.

Rule-of-thumb for the party officer holder (or any office for that matter!) if in place more then 10 years its probably time for them to go ! (Yes there are exceptions. Examine those exceptions carefully and keep them rare !)

It’s pretty much symbolic anyway so it won’t really do anything except provide another nail in the coffin for her attempt to make it thru a GOP primary. A much more stinging rebuke would be if Kevin McCarthy and the National GOP took away her committee assignments and kicked her out of GOP caucus groups, like her membership in the Republican Study Group.

That was true even when she had Limbaugh, Levin, and a bunch of gullible “Tea Party” groups believing she was the “true conservative” anti-establishment candidate. Most of her donations and funding at the time came from beltway insiders and Bush-Cheney administration alumni. By contrast, most of Mike Enzi’s donations and funding came from Wyoming citizens.

I’ve never been a Trump Fanboy and I’m vehemently against Liz Cheney too. Accepting committee assignments from Nancy Pelosi Was the last straw. This goes well beyond Liz Cheney ticking off AlwaysTrumpers, despite both Liz and AlwaysTrumpers pretending that is the reason that conservatives soured on her.

How can she represent this state if she no longer resides or visits WY?
