An assistant professor at a Virginia university is taking heat for saying it isn’t necessarily immoral for adults to be sexually attracted to children — prompting college officials to put out a statement clarifying the claim.
Allyn Walker, who teaches sociology and criminal justice at Old Dominion University, made the controversial comment while discussing “minor-attracted persons” and pedophiles during a Nov. 8 interview with the Prostasia Foundation, a San Francisco-based child protection organization.
Walker was discussing their book, “A Long Dark Shadow: Minor-Attracted People and Their Pursuit of Dignity,” when he insisted it’s important to use that terminology instead of “pedophile” because it’s less stigmatizing.

This person is still female. Some females are pedophiles, too.
Yikes!!!!
Universities seem to attract these freak shows like sh*t attracts flies.
you’re correct, still female. But a crazy biotch tho.
Yup.
Chomo Joe will appoint him to a cabinet position.
Yes it is.
The hell it isn’t immoral to be sexually attracted to children. Anyone who falls prey to this kind of propaganda is immoral to start with. There is soemthing wrong in a person’s mind who allows them to be attracted to a child. Children are not developed sexually to the point where they could participate in relations with an adult. Everybody realizes this and it is necessary for someone to supress this thought process to indulge in sexual activities with them. That is a deliberate thought and they should be held accoutable for it. Having sex with a child should be punishable with at least 5 years in prison if not more.
Well, technically he’s right that attraction in of itself is not immoral, it’s acting on it that’s immoral

Whaaaat ?
Your moral compass has no needle .
Soon your ilk will say acting on it is also not immoral either, some already are.
Who has the eye bleach...hell...the mind bleach!
“born this way, can’t help it”
It can be helped.

Two things: in Hebrew theology it is the act and not the intent that is the sin; what Jesus said has to be filtered through His status as a rabbi. Properly interpreted this verse isn’t saying that lust per se is equivalent to adultery. Taken with other pronouncements Jesus is saying that one should watch one’s desires because the thought is father to the act.
Sexual attraction to children is unhealthy, and pathetic. It is not a disease I suffer from. Acting on sexual attraction to children is immoral. Those suffering from it are sick, but it is not immoral (imho) unless one cultivates the impulses.
