Vice President Kamala Harris asked NASA if it could use its satellites to track trees “by race” in various neighborhoods as part of “environmental justice” during a recent display on climate change, leading many to ridicule the vice president online and even giving rise to a “Black Trees Matter” hashtag.

It’s not limited to land owners. If one chooses to live in a big City, the City owns most of the Trees, and concrete predominates.
It’s what people prioritize and value.
Some people are perfectly fine sending their kids to failing, unsafe schools, if they can support and promote the same Politics and Leaders they have been drawn to their entire lives.

I live in Memphis which is 87% black. I spend approximately $1,400 per year on my trees. When I have had to cut a tree I replaced it with a new tree as big as the landscaper can plant. They run $600~$800 each.
Around the cost of new car rims. If you cut down a mature shade tree your air conditioning bills will double.

I think there are a lot of groups all over the country who already practice ‘environmental activism’ by planting trees. Why does the government have to be Johnny Appleseed?
Does she know that grasses convert more CO2 to O2 and water than white racist trees do? So plant more grass. Oh wait…
