More than a year ago, then-Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe made a stunning series of declassifications—the full implication of which many in the legacy media either ignored or never fully grasped.
I believe this was due to mainstream media being handcuffed by many of the false narratives they had been peddling to the American public for a number of years about the Spygate scandal.
One of the explosive declassifications involved handwritten notes by then-CIA Director John Brennan, who had personally briefed then-President Barack Obama and several members of his National Security Council at the White House about intercepted Russian intelligence analysis.
The content of that intercepted analysis claimed that Hillary Clinton had approved a plan to smear the Trump campaign with a fake Russian collusion hoax that would be created by private operatives. (My earlier column about this can be found here.)
The Brennan notes, coupled with an investigative referral sent to the FBI, make clear that all the top Department of Justice (DOJ) and FBI officials involved in accepting fake evidence from private operatives during the course of the 2016 presidential campaign knew they were being approached by people associated with the Clinton campaign.

The very Heart of Darkness. The horror. The horror.
ThevDOJ will ultimately shut down Durham and the media will cheer. There is be no Congressional hearings about obstruction. No calls for impeachment.
Comey was the leader.
Comey kept Clinton operatives out of jail before.
What was different after that?
The interview of John Ratcliffe by Maria B this morning was pretty revealing. Ratcliffe is not a hyperbolic bomb-thrower. He is a former federal prosecutor who is generally very careful with his words.
Other than John Durham, Ratcliffe knows more than anyone else about the Russian Collusion Delusion. He declassified many documents for Durham and provided many more that remain classified. Ratcliffe is still confident that many more people will be indicted.
I am skeptical (like all of us) that people at the top would be held accountable, but Ratcliffe has never backed off his belief that there will be lots of indictments.
Part of me wonders if some of these indictments will be for using contractor access to the NSA database for partisan political purposes (and profit). Those allegations have been out there for a long time but they kind of faded away without any answers.
Clinton Foundation offered much in the way of money and favors to those who went along, and much in the way of threats and extortion to those who would get in the way. Modern day Medicis in play, awaiting divine retribution.
If no one was fooled, that means they perjured themselves using that info to get the FISA warrants rather than merely being incompetently gullible.
I’ve been assuming that they’ll drag things out long enough that the statutory limitations will mean no prosecutions. I just hope there’s enough evidence revealed for Page & others (including Trump) to sue in civil court. These people need to pay, one way or another.
What's your point?
A logical assumption.
The only way a Clinton operative falls is if the Team Obama branch of the Deep State authorizes it to happen.
Yeah I’ve always felt the Chicago Mob trumped the Clinton Crime Family in any serious conflict.
FWIW, civil actions have statues of limitations too. Similar duration to criminal stateus of limitations.
Well, that’s too bad. How many people have been bankrupted thru this nonsense. They should be able to recoup their losses & then some.
They knew it as a load of horse **** and yet they all went along with it.
They all deserve a short drop with new rope.
L
They seriously say everything is classified. Even their lunch orders. Ridiculous.
I believe this was due to mainstream media being handcuffed by many of the false narratives they had been peddling to the American public for a number of years about the Spygate scandal.
See Tagline.
