Nope, as I said last week. This thing is DOA. The writing is on the wall. Biden is transferring liability to the corporations and small businesses. They are slow on the uptake but their legal teams will figure it out and then it’s done.
This is the one I am worried about too - this was announced the same day as the OSHA ETS details on Thursday.

Why is everyone ignoring the mandate for federal contractors?
From what I’ve been reading, the mandate against healthcare workers is not the same thing. Healthcare workers will be required to take the jab by January 4th or lose their job ....unless something happens between now and then.
Yes, that’s my understanding as well. The healthcare mandate was issued by the CMS - Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services - and is not part of the EO’s issued by Biden. Which is unfortunate, because I do have some hope that the EO’s will get shot down. But a ruling by CMS is a different ball game. Unfortunately I will be subject to the healthcare one, even though I have virtually no interaction with patients. But I work for a community mental healthcare non-profit. I am in accounting, and have my own office, not even on the main campus. So far they are still waiting on further guidance, but I truly don’t know what I am going to do if this goes through.

That is good news! Our governor has been on the right side of this so far - she joined with the coalition of something like 29 states, I think it was, that is suing over the OSHA mandate, and she has also issued an order that would ban mask mandates in school in Iowa. She also would allow people that got fired for not getting the vax to get unemployment. But I guess we will just have to wait and see how this all shakes out. It is so sad - I never would have believed this could happen in America.
