From what I’ve been reading, the mandate against healthcare workers is not the same thing. Healthcare workers will be required to take the jab by January 4th or lose their job ....unless something happens between now and then.
Yes, that’s my understanding as well. The healthcare mandate was issued by the CMS - Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services - and is not part of the EO’s issued by Biden. Which is unfortunate, because I do have some hope that the EO’s will get shot down. But a ruling by CMS is a different ball game. Unfortunately I will be subject to the healthcare one, even though I have virtually no interaction with patients. But I work for a community mental healthcare non-profit. I am in accounting, and have my own office, not even on the main campus. So far they are still waiting on further guidance, but I truly don’t know what I am going to do if this goes through.
