pre-conditions. you likely had no pre-conditions. You're very healthy.
They don't give names of the test subjects for the injections. So there is no way to know who dies other then watching for them to show up on VAERS which many already have. For Pfizer we know at least 10 are already dead. They had no pre-conditions.
I'm sure you don't feel comfortable telling us the side effects you've been having. If you are willing to tell us. Please we would like to hear them.

Actually they were looking for people with some comorbidities when they were recruiting for the phase 3 trials in the Summer of 2020. It's the phases 1 and 2 trials where they only want young extremely healthy people. I have a friend of mine who used to get money in college being a test subject in phase 1 trials. That's where they are trying to determine if the drug or vaccine is safe to use in humans at all and in what doses. For a vaccine they also want to see if there is an immune response in the phase 1 testing. Then there is phase 2 where they try to determine the optimal dosing and timing of doses in healthy people and also monitor safety. In phase 3 they try to assess both safety and efficacy in the target population. It's true they don't want really sick people. My brother who uses a biologic to suppress the immune system to control arthritis was definitely not eligible. I do take medications to control blood pressure, and I am over my ideal weight, because I can't run anymore due to back surgery I had 20 years ago. I would never consider volunteering for a phase 1 or 2 trial. I'm too old for that.
I got my first injection in August 2020 and my second exactly 28 days later in September 2020. It has now been over 14 months since I got my second injection. As reports of the second injection side effects started hitting the media, I was pretty sure I was in the experimental group that got the vaccine rather than the control group that got the placebo. I got a call from the company running the trial between Christmas and New Years Eve of 2020 saying that Moderna had enough data and would start unblinding in the middle of January 2021. As I strongly suspected that I had gotten the vaccine, I wasn't too concerned about getting unblinded as soon as possible. I was holding out for waiting til after my 6 month checkup after my second injection before unblinding. I got a call from the clinical trial company on the last Thursday of February 2021, and they said Moderna wanted everyone unblinded by the end of the next week. I actually had my 6 months post second injection follow up scheduled for the next week, but I was told those two appointments could not be combined. They scheduled me for unblinding for the end of the first week of March of 2021. At the unblinding appointment they had a physician interview me about the state of my health and make sure all the information in the files was up to date especially the information about my current medications. I told him that I highly suspected that I got the vaccine rather than the placebo based on my side effects especially following the second injection. He tried to suppress as smile and a laugh. It's really hard to make the placebo and experimental agent have similar side effects with the Moderna vaccine. Then they had a nurse draw 2 vials of blood. I was a bit surprised. Normally they would draw 8 vials of blood at visits before giving and injection. For some reason the unblinding blood draw was only 2 vials.
Anyway after the interview and blood draw, I was sent to the waiting room to get either my first Moderna injection or get my vaccine card documenting that I had in fact been vaccinated 6 months before. When they prepare injections in the Moderna test, it takes 30 minutes, because they have to take out a vial from cryo storage. Only the physician in charge of preparing the injections knows which persons are getting the vaccine and which are getting the placebo. Regardless of which injection it is, you have to wait 30 minutes, because neither the test subject getting the injection nor the physician giving it is supposed to know which injection it is. Of course for the unblinding all the injections are the vaccine, and they take 30 minutes to prepare from cryo storage to injection in an arm. Anyway 15 minutes into waiting, a physician entered the room and called my name. I responded, and he came up to me and congratulating me for already being fully vaccinated and handed me a card documenting my vaccinations in August and September of 2020. I was then free to go, but I posted to Facebook before leaving.
In August 2021 I was called and told that everyone still in the phase 3 trial would be offered a third dose as soon as the research protocols were written by Moderna the and approved by the FDA. It wasn't til October that the FDA approved the part of the research protocol for those 65 and over and those with serious co-morbidities. I tried to get scheduled in October, but they said they were busy vaccinating the people with higher priority. I told them that I was trying to get vaccinated ASAP so I could have my 4 week follow up appointment before leaving on a trip out of the US. Originally I had hoped to get vaccinated about a week before leaving the US at the end of October and returning a few days before Thanksgiving. Then I would have done the follow up appointment the week after Thanksgiving. Unfortunately the research protocol wasn't ready.
My wife, who is currently overseas with our 20 month old son, is visiting her parents. Unfortunately she has not been able to visit her elderly grandmother who is recovering from COVID-19 in a hospital. It's fortunate that she was fully vaccinated, because she probably wouldn't have survived without any prior immunologic priming. My wife wants to extend her trip so she can help out after her grandmother is released from the hospital. It looks like I will be traveling into a COVID hotspot just 4 weeks after my third Moderna dose. I'm looking at getting my follow up appointment in the morning in San Antonio, then driving to IAH airport in Houston for an evening flight to Istanbul. I have to apply for an expedited passport renewal, because my passport expires in May 2022 which is 6 months after Thanksgiving. Most countries require a passport be valid for at least 6 months beyond the date of entry into a country. My existing passport would have worked for travel at the beginning of November but won't work for the beginning of December.
I'm trying to figure out better travel dates for my wife, son, and me. My wife's entry stamp on her new US passport expire a few days before Orthodox Christmas. I'm trying to figure out a travel itinerary that would take us outside of my wife's native country for a week or two, so we can add time to the end of the trip.
