It’s time to adopt the pending Titles of Nobility Amendment to the Constitution.
Direct involvement in politics is a no-no, and ESPECIALLY involvement in politics in another country.
The royals might get away with bland statements on global warming or some such nonsense, but direct lobbying of American politicians is another matter altogether.

After Queen Elizabeth II dies, the Brits should dismantle Monarchy and privatize the institution. The Windsors are rich enough that they can buy a castle or two from the state. Sell the rest at an auction. The Windsors can continue to make their own living at the remaining castle they've chosen to reside. Sort of like Biltmore in Asheville, NC. If you want a glass of wine with Prince William, it'll cost you $5,000. For dinner? That'll be $50,000 a plate. Plenty of people will pay for the privilege. No reason for the state to pay for any of it in the 21st Century

With all due respect to Elizabeth she is too old to deal with such things properly. Charles is most likely already making the important decisions. He’s a lefty and his judgement is questionable hence why things are the way they are with these two doing as they please.
