Creating an exposure firestorm to wake those that are still asleep, but would otherwise like to be informed, is a start.

The second they actually publish a Rule, lawsuits will be raining from the heavens.

Agreed, as there should be. Question is, will people find relief in the increasingly tyrannical, legislating from the bench, courts?

Working from home doesn’t help, I don’ think. Our entire company has been WFM since this started. We were all told, ya better get it or else.

No. The requirements of the standard do not apply to the employees of covered employers who do not report to a workplace where other individuals such as coworkers or customers are present or while working from home. This includes the testing requirements of paragraph (g) of the ETS.

NUKE the unconstitutional OSHA along with the unconstitutional U.S. Labor Department.

Frist of all, the Constitution gives the feds NO authority to regulate our “labor” or the environment.

Secondly, these agencies are a COMPLETE waste of the American People’s time and money.

NUKE ‘EM!!!!

That's the current OSHA rule. Subject to change on their whim.

Of course, that doesn't preclude a company from "mandating" a vaccine for those who work from home anyway.

2 years ago, such a thing would be exceedingly rare. It would artificially restrict the pool of workers, unnecessarily. It just wouldn't be good for business.

Now...

well, let's just say that covid hysteria has taken over and things are just a bit different.

I’m a 100% remote worker for a large tech company, and while they’ve implemented mandates for on-campus employees, they’ve not touched the remote workers. Estimates are that up to 30% of their US workforce is 100% remote. I’m sure our legal teams are talking extensively with leadership as we speak.

Biden is now using OSHA to expand a policy that is killing the democratic party. He is the biggest fool I have seen in politics in my 78 years on this earth. The man is doing the opposite of what a smart man would do like backing up the bad policies he has put forward. Apparently, he thinks punishing the elecrorate with more mandates will fix things. What a jackass. I am starting to believe he is mentally addled or is senile.

Yup. I know of the situation from which you speak.

They haven't touched remote workers...yet. I'd certainly keep abreast of this rapidly degrading situation though.

The company may eventually be forced by the government (state OR federal) to include 100% remote workers because they may, potentially someday need to come into the office (for a mandated onsite meeting, replace a piece of equipment/laptop that would otherwise take days to ship, etc. etc.).

Or simply, because tyrannical government's will do what tyrannical governments do. Doesn't have to make sense. Much of what they are doing now doesn't make sense either from a common sense perspective or from a science perspective.

I suspect we’ll still need to apply for an accommodation. They need to have a list of the “accommodated” so they know where to start knocking on doors.
