Republican Jack Ciattarelli's campaign on Wednesday slammed The Associated Press for 'irresponsibly' calling Democrat Phil Murphy the winner of New Jersey's incredibly close gubernatorial race, as an unknown number of ballots remain to be counted.
The news outlet called the race just before 6:30 p.m. Wednesday when Murphy led Ciattarelli by a razor-thin margin of 50 percent to 49.2 percent.
'With the candidates separated by a fraction of a percent out of 2.4 million ballots cast, it's irresponsible of the media to make this call when the New Jersey Secretary of State doesn't even know how many ballots are left to be counted,' Ciattarelli Campaign Communications Director Stami Williams tweeted just 20 minutes after the declaration.
Ciattarelli retweeted Williams' post in protest of the call.

I suspect there was a lot of Dem cheating in this election. I hope there is a recount and if Ciattarelli sets up a gofundme to pay for it I will contribute.
Jack is having his “learning moment”.
When it is all over (however it ends) he should offer his humble apology to President Trump:
“You were right. I was stupid. I get it. You will have my unwavering support going forward.”
Tie it up in the courts. Organize “mostly peaceful” protests. Make life miserable for the other side. Live Free or Die!

All a recount does is count the same ballots already counted without an examination to determine if they are even legal ballots.

Correct. A forensic audit. A recount usually ends up in the dem favor as they always find additional boxes of fraudulent dem ballots to count. I am certain the cemetery vote has put Murphy back in power.
I did not expect Jack to win and despite being a very, very lukewarm supporter of his, he far exceeded my expectations on election night. The typical NJ shenanigans took place, particularly in The Democrat strongholds of Hudson and Essex counties which miscounted or recounted due to “errors”. Bergen county had a mysterious flip in votes at the end of the night and Somerset County (where Jack is from and very popular) went from red to blue at the end of the evening based largely on mail in votes.....just a little odd.
