“I think it would be best if he passed on the torch so the movement doesn’t die with him. That’s why as of now, I would like it to be DeSantis in 2024.”
HEAR HEAR!!

Reagan said that it didn’t matter who got the credit as long as what he wanted to happen did in fact happen. Reagan said that but he knew damned well that the President normally gets the credit (or the blame) for everything his administration does. When he was running for President he didn't say it didn't matter who did good things when he was Governor.
Trump gets blamed for everything and credit for nothing, when he was president and still today. Had Youngkin lost everyone everywhere would have said it was because of Trump. I can't fault him for taking a victory lap when he helps swing an election. And he did help.

This election wasn't about Youngkin. Nobody in Virginia knows anything about him.

You’re good. I was agreeing with you. I should have stated that at the first portion of my post.

In 2017, Republicans didn't even challenge 9 Fairfax districts. In 2021, they had a candidate in every race. This is very important. You gotta give the locals something to engage. It helps up-ballot, and sometimes lightning strikes.
In 1994, we had challengers to Dan Rostenkowski and Speaker Tom Foley... and they both won. Likewise, I remember a New Orleans congressional district... same thing.
All these races were long shots, but when given an choice, sometimes the electorate can surprise us.

Rubio is not a natural born citizen.
He was born a Cuban national from Cuban national parents.

He definitely helped.
Trump’s policies and how they benefited the lives of ordinary Americans are showing up ever more powerfully in stark contrast to the Dem’s failing policies. Youngkin ran on MAGA policies and won.

Certainly Youngkin ran the right campaign, but the election wasn't about him, it's about an re-engaged Republican party, which has everything to do with Trump. Youngkin made a point of keeping Donald Trump at arms length, at one point saying that McCauliffe was the only one talking about Trump.

The get out the vote this time was way better than previous elections.
In Cuccinelli’s race the Cantor wing of the VA GOP was actively sabotaging him.

Also, why would you want as President someone who voted to abandon the rule of law and give the Democrats a permanent majority with amnesty for illegal aliens?
(PS, if you nominate an ineligible, expect to lose, lots of us know what natural born citizen means and will not vote for him)

I agree there was fraud in 2020. My point was this may have been a sacrifice to help hide the fraud from 2020.

One of the roles of the President is to be humble moral leader who takes the attention off of himself and on to the issues. I ask you- did Trump’s twitterstorms accomplish this?

"One of the roles of the President is to be humble moral leader who takes the attention off of himself and on to the issues."
LOL! You're joking. The job of the POTUS carries no rules or roll in demeanor or diplomacy; nor whether or not to being humble, a wimp or a showboating narcissistic sham-wow salesman. Obama was the best at that! And he got re-elected!
I couldn't care less if Trump slapped his VP or one of his administration for crying... like General Patton did to a soldier who lost his composure and courage in WWII!
You do the job you were hired to do.
Trump wasn't hired for his demeanor or bedside manner. He was hired to carry out and discharge the office of the president, and do it 'pretty' or do it 'ugly'... but just DO IT! Win the f'ng WAR, deliver on his oath of office and put America back on track.
A leader doesn't earn respect from finesse and kissing babies... he earns it by a persona of power, authority and commanding respect however you can get it. And if that means bloviating about your skills, successes and influence... so be it. I would rather have Trump's character in the WH pissing in every corner who stands his ground without apology... then a weak kneed, go-along reach over the isle 'give the mouse a cookie' democrat played sucker that bends-over every time to the leftist drama-queen commies.
Think and believe whatever you want about Trumps behavior. I want that magnificent BASTARD back and in charge sweeping out Donkey trash and telling them...
"I'm back, I'm the best and you will hear me gloat it to your face every day of your Democrat registered miserable lives for the next 4 years and beyond!"
You should put down your 'Hello Kitty' notebook and pencil. Get your head out of the idea of playing a role. You want the presidency or the job of a 5 star general??... Then be one... not the image or role of what you think they should be. You don't win wars or move mountains by role-playing or being humble and nice. That's what actors do. Trump is NO actor!
