Sorry, Trump steps on his own positive messages often. Youngkin ran a wonderful MAGA campaign by himself, with help from Trump around the edges. Everyone knew that Glenn had Trump’s endorsement, and the campaign played it just right, I believe.

Stop making it all about you.

He's absolutely right to push back on this ridiculous narrative that started last night from the punditry on BOTH sides of the aisle, that "this proves Republicans do better without Trump." All the Wizards of Smart suddenly "forgot" that the Democrats spent the entire election making it all about Trump. That year-long scheme utterly backfired, but it's TRUMP "making it all about" himself? GTFO.

"Sir, this is Pvt. Manbitch FRacebooker. He's upset that Youngkin won."

"Oh he is, is he. What's your problem, Private."

"It's just that, **boohoo...sniffsnifffff**, Youngkin's not good enough for me. I don't want to fight anymore."

Just bask in the glow that you contributed and let the man Youngkin enjoy his moment.

Agree. But Trump is Trump and he will say these things.

I trust Trump, because he has a solid record. Trusted but verified, you might say.

I'm not so sure about Youngkin. All I know about him for certain: he's better than the alternative. Like Justice Kavanaugh is better than Merrick Garland.

Meanwhile there are many people who are put off by Pres. Trump's style. Even now when the substance is on record and PDJT has good reason to be proud. And we need those votes. So I wish PDJT would tone it down a notch.

As indeed he did, during the campaign. When the Dems tried to make it about Trump, he didn't toss them any red meat. They had to rail against Trump -- can't help themselves -- but they sounded awfully tone deaf and off-track. They needed to make a good counter-argument to Youngkin, and "there's a Trump under every bed" doesn't cut it.

McAuliffe was from the Clinton wing of the Democrats not the Obama wing. They didn’t fully turn on the fraud machine.

This election also portrays there wasn’t fraud in 2020.

No, The population of the 6 VA counties in the DC metro area is around 3 million. The population of Va is around 9 million. So about 30% to 33% of Virginians live there.

Blueprint? You mean run squishy milquetoast candidates that don’t embrace MAGA all that much? Really?

agreed! Trumps narcissism helped create the mess w’ere in. I’ll vote for Pence, Rubio, Carson, or Pompeo in the primaries and hold my nose and vote for Trump in the final. Most of his policies were good but he had nowhere the finess of Reagan!

But Trump is absolutely correct. Without Trumps influence and rise as the living ‘Gadsden Flag’, of which is solely responsible for galvanizing the silent conservative base and which base and giving it balls to rise up into the single largest army and full-on patriot counter-offensive against the despotic progressive Marxist invaders not seen since the burning of our cities, states and capital by the British in the war of 1812 ... this contest would have been a slam-dunk for any Democrat/Marxist running in Va. The republicans would already be in state gulags and re-education camps.

Without Trump on the political stage at this point in history... things would be horribly Stalinist in contrast.

Youngkin isn't a political genius whose campaign needs to be studied like Brett Baier claimed on Fox News.

This election was referendum on Biden and the Democrats' far-left wing policies. The Democrats have given Republicans several hanging curveballs to hit out of the park.

But, in other states, other issues like border security will be what sinks the Democrats.

I wish PDJT would watch where he's going

When, in the fullness of time, he meets his Maker, he will be utterly penniless, and then he'll begin to cultivate humility. Not one second before! :D

P.S.: Pretty sure he'll get credit for MAGA and Pres. Washington will see that he gets a good seat.

He did NOT sound like a RINO last night. Not at all.

He fully supports removing Confederate statues and trampling our American Heritage. Does that sound MAGA to you?

He’s a venture capitalist and say whatever you need to get elected Romney Republican.

The problem with electing RINOs is you get RINOs.

Actually, without McAuliffe trying to make it all about Trump, Youngkin would’ve lost.

And since McAwful made it about Trump and Trump
gave Youngkin that all important Trump endorsement
which has an almost perfect record of electing
MAGA candidates Trump has standing.

Youngkin would not have racked up the huge
margins in the Red areas of VA. that is a
Dem state without Trump giving him his endorsement

Youngkin is a Rino, and my advise is he should
Do what DeSantis did right away, clean up
the election system in VA.

McAuliffe is only slightly more likable than Hillary. Youngkin had to run the table to win and he did. Any number of things don’t happen and he loses. Generic Dem, no Loudoun fiasco, Biden malaise, etc.

Trump received 300,000 more votes than Youngkin in Virginia just one year ago.

If current numbers hold up, there was ~1M less votes for governor this year than for president last year.

Did Trump take ALL of the credit or did he let the MAGA movement take credit???

Why are some of you political “philosophers” so frosty towards this movement of US!! It’s a patriotic movement, and if the republican candidate in New Jersey would not have made such disparaging remarks towards MAGA patriots, he’s be giving an acceptance speech.

Bwahahahaha! I’m 64, and in no-way does ‘finesse’ have anything to do with dealing with full-on Marxists that want to burn the country down and install Communism.

The era of Reagan and political climate was a petting zoo back then compared to today.

Today, Trump was EXACTLY what conservative needed to get behind in order to turn back the domestic Communist invaders. Reagan would not have been able to do it with his ‘finesse’ and soft punches that would have failed miserably today against a cancer that was in 3rd stage against a host that was on life support.

Thank GOD from high heaven for Trump throwing down the gauntlet and answering the call.
