Fox News co-host Geraldo Rivera said Wednesday that Sens. Ted Cruz (R-TX), Josh Hawley (R-MO) and Tom Cotton (R-AR) were “nasty” and disrespectful to Attorney General Merrick Garland during his testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee.
Rivera said, “I have to say, watching Ted Cruz and Josh Hawley, they’re so nasty, so snarly. They make my skin crawl. It really is. The way they were so disrespectful. And Tom Cotton? That attack just now? That doesn’t make Tom Cotton look like a real serious senator. That looks like an ideological warrior trying to score a cheap point.”
Co-host Jesse Watters said, “You thought that was bad? Do you remember the Kavanaugh hearings, Geraldo?”
Rivera said, “I do remember. They were getting back at Merrick Garland, who had nothing to do with the Kavanaugh hearings.”
Co-host Katie Pavlich said, “It makes my skin crawl the calling for the DOJ to be politicized to go after everyday parents for daring to question their school board members that they elect.
Rivera said, “What about children watching the Senate in action? Where is Jimmy Stewart? “as low down and dirty as it gets.”
Watters said, “You have not been paying attention.”
Rivera said, “I have been plenty paying attention.”

I guess Deep State puppet Jerry Rivers got his marching orders to defend Garland.
The problem whit what Garland is doing is NOT that there might be violence. It is that the school board only has to SAY they feel threatened. No one actually has to do or say anything violent just CLAIM they FEEL threatened. Then they cart off to fed jail any parent to make an example and put fear into and silencing the parents.
What makes Garland road kill in this is that he refuses to withdraw his letter even though it is based on nothing. Cruz in his questioning got to the point that there was no factual basis for the threat AND Garland the chief law enforcement officer in the land either knew it or did not look at the actual threats as outlined by Cruz. He should have been disrespectful if that is what a Senator questioning an executive was doing. Garland got grilled properly on his non performance.
