What makes Garland road kill in this is that he refuses to withdraw his letter even though it is based on nothing. Cruz in his questioning got to the point that there was no factual basis for the threat AND Garland the chief law enforcement officer in the land either knew it or did not look at the actual threats as outlined by Cruz. He should have been disrespectful if that is what a Senator questioning an executive was doing. Garland got grilled properly on his non performance.
