Cafeterias in K-12 schools across the country have reportedly faced depleted food supplies and labor shortages because of the coronavirus pandemic, leading some school districts to consider a return to remote learning rather than forcing students to go hungry. An AL.com story on Monday said Alabama's education department reported every school district in the state is suffering from food and cafeteria workforce shortages. Other school districts throughout the country have faced the same problem, and federal agencies have scrambled to offer assistance.
The reasons cited for the shortages are pandemic-related. Cafeteria workers miss work after becoming sick with COVID-19 or because they're quarantining after being exposed to the virus. At the same time, truck companies have reported difficulties in filling positions, such as drivers to bring food and cutlery to schools, as have food production factories responsible for putting together student meals.

Maybe parents should feed their children. Just a thought.
They’ve never heard of a sack lunch, FFS??!!?
So if The State can’t feed your kids (instead of you), they won’t teach them in school.
PB&J worked well for YEARS....with an apple.
Liberal priorities...
“Cafeterias in K-12 schools across the country have reportedly faced depleted food supplies and labor shortages because of the STOLEN ELECTION of 2020.”
Fixed! :)
Feeding the kids is part of the parenting gig.
This is a radical thought, but how about parents send their kids to school with a bagged lunch??
So the critical shortage of brown paper lunch bags and Jetson’s or Archie & Jughead lunchboxes means that no parent can ever make a lunch for their kids to ‘gasp’ have to ‘carry’ to school. Oh the huge manitee!
When I was in grammar school, there was no breakfast or lunch programs. There was no place to eat your lunch at school, so I went home for lunch, and then went back to school.
If these schools are given money to provide meals to these kids, but aren't able to, then the school system should have to return that part of their budget to the people who pay school taxes.

Our kids preferred to make their lunches at home after breakfast.
We had plenty of good snacks for them to take.
Last year during the Covid closure of schools in California, many districts still delivered 3+ meals a day to be picked up and to be eaten at home. Many just ate at the school grounds.
Give them cake.
So much for build back “better”...
How about all the reporters just simple write that The Biden/Obama Administration is ‘crippling’ everything in this nation.....everything they touch creates yet another crisis or major issue.
I did. Especially during the Obama regime where kids were going hungry.

Indeed. I was packed off to school with a rotation of peanut butter, tuna fish, meatloaf, bologna, veal loaf, and liverwurst sandwiches for years. Liverwurst was one of my favorites until I learned it was actually made of liver.
This is America’s CULTURAL REVOLUTION.
It MUST be stopped.
Let me guess. The unvaccinated are responsible for creating the food supply shortages.
