That’s a really long winded way of saying because you don’t like the guy that because you’re not supporting him, then nobody should support him, that actually sounds rather authoritarian in nature. Again, everyone should evaluate the facts and make their own decision about helping him or not.
Is this not the guy that said he was resigning immediately?
Obviously he’s not trying to score political points as he’s now pissed off the extremists on both sides.
This guy is incommunicado right now. That’s what matter.
I support Trump over the GOP Establishment day and night, 110 percent of the time.
DJT isn’t my Lord or Diety, but even on his most sinful day Trump is not the “Great Satan” of the unrepentant Establishment of the Republican Party.
He has pissed off more than just extremists. He is a loose cannon. Sorry, but that is my take. He should have learned to keep his mouth shut.
He still DESERVES a pension for his 17 years of honorable service, by act of Congress, if necessary. His mouth, however, may have alienated his potential champion in that effort.
I read the entire statement last night. Put in context, it not what is implied here.
Again, why should he have kept his mouth shut. Part of the problem in the military is the fact that so many officers are nothing but careerists and will not step up and talk when they see corruption. Obviously he’s not doing this for personal gain or adoration from either side, so I ask again, why should he have kept his mouth shut?
I am only speaking for myself. After looking at his Facebook postings and emails, I have serious reservations about his mental stability. Any Republican in Congress or other elected positions should be circumspect about expressing support for him. He is a flawed messenger who can be used by the opposition to discredit the message. That’s my point.
Disappointing, but I still respect his demand for accountability.
