He has pissed off more than just extremists. He is a loose cannon. Sorry, but that is my take. He should have learned to keep his mouth shut.
He still DESERVES a pension for his 17 years of honorable service, by act of Congress, if necessary. His mouth, however, may have alienated his potential champion in that effort.
Again, why should he have kept his mouth shut. Part of the problem in the military is the fact that so many officers are nothing but careerists and will not step up and talk when they see corruption. Obviously he’s not doing this for personal gain or adoration from either side, so I ask again, why should he have kept his mouth shut?
