New York City restaurateurs are speaking out against the city's proof of vaccine requirements for in-person dining, which has disadvantaged local businesses. ... "Our business is definitely down 50. I'm going to say 60 percent. There are just no people coming into the restaurant. They have a fear of being asked for vaccines,"

“adding that many potential customers blame his business instead of the government for the vaccine mandates”
All according to plan.
I was at one of my favorite restaurants to eat in Queens on Thursday. Met my buddy who was in town from Atlanta- they never asked us to show squat which is a good thing because we had nothing to show them.
Well, New Yawkers, I guess you get the results that you cast your vote for ... instant karma’s gonna get you ...
All part of the plan
Unexpectedly.
These policies are perfectly designed to destroy small businesses. The megacorporations will survive because they can swallow the losses, and the elite restaurants & stores will survive, because they're elite and the rules never apply to them.
I’m guessing that the ruling class is dining just fine.
I’m thinking the left is engaged in an all out coordinated effort to collapse the economy. The unexplained off-loading ship backups at our ports, both on the East and West Coasts is puzzling. The insane vax passports are just further proof. Fuel prices are another. Costco is reportedly having to procure their own ships and containers to maintain supply of products. I know the libs are crazy, but this effort seems coordinated and concerted. It also suggests they are confident they can rig future elections regardless of the destruction they cause.

And asking for proof of vaccination is keeping them out? I bet
there are numerous fake vac cards available.
Wait until the airlines require a vaccine passport. The airlines will go out of business. Busy terminals will be ghost towns and all airport employees will be gone. Fly-in tourist destinations will be destroyed.
This assume too much - as if they have the power to scare people.
That's not "fear of being asked" - that's "KISS MY ASS".
Costco can get their own ships but they will be anchored off-shore, waiting in line to unload with the others.
It’s New York, Not America
I would eat at home or do take-out, even if vaccinated. Demanding to see one’s papers is un-American.
Yellan treasury secretary now did mention in a clip months ago before her appointment that she believed covid was a blessing, those small businesses that were allowed to die will be reborn thru the treasury with small business loans and grants offered to the now inequality crowd blacks and gender confused to replace those businesses that were murdered by the government. In the new infrastructure bill are the plans for this. Infrastructure another word for redistribution, re engineering of society, political activism funding and community organization
Of course there is resentment against the restaurants. Everyone laughs at the naked emperor but there is a special seething hatred for those who continue to fuel the emperor’s delusions.
The large airports are near large cities, which will prove to be unsustainable anyway. Wait until NYC is almost empty except for welfare new arrivals and politicians. It will happen after the financial sector pulls out.
I visited NYC at the end of July. Had this rule been in place then, I wouldn’t have gone. My guess is that many tourists have decided not to go to NYC if vaccine mandates are in place.
Ditto! “ Fear” is not the word I would use either
