Bail is to get someone to show up at trial. Acquitted or not is irrelevant. If he shows up for trial, the money is returned.

Your synopsis is correct. It's possible he couldn't find a bonding company to put up the $2m.

If the charity was set up for the Rittenhouse kid, it would
be plausible that he could get the funds. I’m not sure why
a charity set up for thet purpose, should all of a sudden
take change of the funds for other purposes.

Like you, I’m not knowledgeable in this type of matter.

Absolutely, V K. I don't quite know why some FReepers hate Lin Wood.  While supposedly "conservative" GOP like Kemp and Rattsburger conspired to get Xiden elected, and Purdue/Loeffler failed to stand up against the obvious fraud, only Wood and Vernon Jones (both Democrats) led the Georgia fight against these traitors and sunshine "conservatives". 

Lin Wood is a Patriot.  Trunk massive, limbs strong yet flexible: there's a good reason why Boston shipbuilders chose Georgia Live Oak for the frame of Old Ironsides.

Re: 73 - My complaint with Woods is his jackassin’ regarding CJ Roberts and the claims of child molestation and murder he made and never backed up. The same with claims that there was a shouting match that occurred between SCOTUS justices - never back up his claims.

Woods is a dishonest hack who happens to be a lawyer.
