The Pentagon ordered all service members to get vaccinated last month and didn't rule out a court martial for those who don't. More than 800,000 service members out of around 1.4 million still needed to get their shots at the time of the mandate, according to Pentagon data. But during the budget bill's markup under the House Armed Services Committee, an amendment, now section 716, proposed by Rep. Mark Green, R-Tenn., made its way into the bill that prohibited 'any discharge but honorable' for vaccine refusal. 'I am appalled that the Biden Administration is trying to remove my amendment to the National Defense Authorization Act that prevents anything but an honorable discharge for service members who refuse to get the COVID-19 vaccine,' Green said in a statement to DailyMail.com. 'This was a bipartisan amendment — every Democrat on the House Armed Services Committee agreed to it.'

You don’t want a DD-214 with an OTH on it. Worse that bad credit...
A soldier has to obey lawful orders. When we get a lawful CIC, then we can talk about it. Remember, that “vaccine” is still experimental last I heard. This proposed order could just about decimate the military. Isn’t anyone in charge concerned about that?
Given that the vast majority of the military already regards biden (small b very much intended) and his sordid minions as slightly more smelly than excrement, that’ll go well.
His almost immeasurable stupidity, coupled with the wokeism fosted on a group of people considerably more intelligent, devoted and less prejudiced than most of our democRAT congresscritters, make the military regard our “dear leader” as a walking turd. On his best days. Datz da twuth.
... and an honor to be impeached during the “reign” of Nancy Pelosi.
Stolen elections have consequences.
As I understand it, congress is exempt from mandate of getting the shot. Wonder why???
Members of the military are required to take all kinds of ‘shots’. Has anyone ever received a Dishonorable Discharge for not taking the shots?
Holy cow. I’m about 5 minutes into this and it’s a video every Freeper should watch.
I’m not getting that shot and with 800K military persons still unvaxxed, doubtful they’ll have 800K dishonorable discharges if these men and women simply stick to their guns and say NNNOOOOO!
Answer: A resounding no. :(
I’m sure discharging half the troops sounds like a great idea to the regime. It saves them the effort of trying to prove these troops are domestic terrorists because they made a pro Trump post on Facebook. If a soldier stands up to the scamdemic BS, the regime wants him gone and replaced by a dependable woke product of public education. Pay attention to who the armed forces are recruiting now. Fat, primarily minority women wanting to help out during a pandemic. All their advertising is the same. Watch
“A Dishonorable Discharge (DD), colloquially referred to as a “Duck Dinner,” can only be handed down to a military member by a general court-martial. Dishonorable discharges are handed down for what the military considers the most reprehensible conduct. This type of discharge may be rendered only by conviction at a general court-martial for very serious offenses (e.g., treason, espionage, desertion, sexual assault, murder) that call for dishonorable discharge as part of the sentence.
With this characterization of service, all veterans’ benefits are lost, regardless of any past honorable service, and this type of discharge is regarded as shameful in the military. In many states a dishonorable discharge is deemed the equivalent of a felony conviction, with attendant loss of civil rights. In some states, those who have been dishonorably discharged may also be barred from voting, holding office or doing jury service because they were discharged as the result of a felony conviction. Additionally, US federal law prohibits possession of firearms or ammunition by those who have been dishonorably discharged per the Gun Control Act of 1968, and being dishonorably discharged is as well a disqualifying question on the Form 4473, which must be completed and signed to purchase a firearm from a Federal Firearms Licensee (FFL) and will result in a denial by the Brady background check that must be performed and passed to allow a sale.”
Often, an OTH is referred to as a ‘bad paper’, and this category of discharge has a lasting impact on a service member. Typically, this character of discharge is an indication of behavior problems while in service that is not compatible with the military. Also, this pattern of behavior proved to persist even after redirection from a superior.
HIS MASK is off..
He Hates the people honorably serving our country.
I can see mass resignations an no re ups in the near future.
Impeaching Biden would be like a dishonorable discharge
President Wetoolow Biden getting his directive from Master Xi
Military could accept the shots.
I just read that a treatment of Ivermectin removes ALL spike proteins—including the vaccine’s.
Biden is three balls short of a left nut.
The military is revolting against the mandate.
A naval officer was speaking out on Tucker Carlson Wednesday night, saying that there is a strategic danger to the function of soldiers bewcause the longe term effects of the vax are unknown. He is right.
I do not believe that the military will be vaccinated against their will. Its a bioweapon.
In that case, it would be Ivermectin for me :)
Yes, that it is :(
It’s another excuse to purge the military further of people who might balk at mowing down Americans with tanks. Democrats are sociopaths.
Yes.
Related -- Recruitment is always a challenge. The current American culture does not produce a huge percentage of young men and women who want to enlist. And, many young people, for a variety of reasons, are not the sort who could carry out the duties of a soldier. I don't think it's like WWII where you could scoop of millions of men from all across the country and say "You're in the army now". Many young people today would have psychological breakdowns. Or refuse. Or be too fat.
If the vax results in health problems for our current soldiers (2 years from now?) how do we replace them? You couldn't just decide to recruit a million more. You could bring back the draft, but the quality would be poor.
I think we would really have trouble fielding a credible fighting force if our current group of soldiers took a bad hit.
And maybe that's the plan.
