France’s Macron expects Biden’s “clarifications” on sub spat

PARIS (AP) — French President Emmanuel Macron expects “clarifications and clear commitments” from U.S. President Joe Biden in a call to take place later on Wednesday to address a dispute over submarines, Macron’s office said.

Macron’s office said the call, which was requested by Biden, is to discuss “the crisis of trust” that led to the unprecedented recall of the French ambassador to the United States last week.

France wants an acknowledgment that talks should have been held between allies before the deal was made and that it is raising “a matter of trust about which we need to draw together all the consequences,” according to Macron’s office.

France’s European Union partners agreed Tuesday to put the dispute at the top of bloc’s political agenda, including at an EU summit next month.

No mention of Trump by the AP. It’s possible, but not likely, the press is realizing they promoted a pathetic, demented fool.

So will it be Harris making the clarifications? BIden can’t string sentences together in a coherent fashion.

The “clarification” would sound something like: “well,Macron...France hasn't bought a single one of Hunter's paintings so you can go pound sand!”

They don’t care about France. Foreign policy bores the media because they don’t understand any of it.

Biden is unifying our allies just like he unified our country. These would be headlines if it were Trump.

Clarity from Biden? Macron might expect that. But it’s more likely he’ll be called a lying, dog-faced pony soldier.

I have no idea who’s pulling Biden’s strings. But if Macron knows, he’d be better off calling that person directly.

There is no spat, the Frech contract with Australia required a series of inspection stages with the construction of the first sub.

The French were such assholes on the first inspection required unter the contracty that Australia ended it.

That’s why Australia ended their contract and took up the US option.

The French brought this on themselves.

I think Biden’s main character trait is a sense of inadequacy. Plagiarism is taking another’s work product because you think your own is not very good. He panders to his friends and lies to others to gain approval. All his covering up, lying, and pretending adds to his rage and bitterness, because he subconsciously knows that in reality, he is unaccomplished, phony, and venal.

“Clarification” is code for Macron wants money from the US and UK for losing his contract with Australia to build buggy whip non nuke subs when Australia decided the US and UK had the nuke product that Australia needed when it comes to China. Macron fantasy idea of competition involves a shoddy competitor with an outdated product such as France should be compensated by the superior competitor who can fill the need for advanced subs.

I met Biden back in the mid ‘70s, about a year after he joined the Senate. I was his enthusiastic supporter then, but after five minutes I detested him. I have never seen such an empty, pompous, vain, nasty, shallow man in my life. Less than five minutes, that’s all it took to understand the quality of Biden.
