Jimmy Carter’s birthday is still nearly two weeks away, but tributes and well wishes are already pouring in from across the globe.
The oldest living former president turns 97 on Oct. 1, and the Atlanta-based Carter Center on Friday asked fans to submit birthday wishes and photos to the Georgia native ahead of his big day.

He lived to see not one, but two, presidents worse than he. That’s a hell of an accomplishment.

Grew up with Carter and yes Iran, Nicaragua, Afghanistan all on the table when he was POTUS. The Soviet Union advancing in all three countries back then.
Carter worked out a peace deal between Israel and Egypt good thing.
Post-President he convinced Communist Daniel Ortega to give up power when he lost the election decades ago in Nicaragua. Now Ortega and his wife rule like the Venezuelan regime.
Carter told Playboy in 1976 as a POTUS candidate that he committed adultery in his heart with many women.
Or in other words he had a lot of sexual experiences in his mind with women.
That comment to me is his most profound and meaningful contribution to human experience and dialogue.
It can be a pathway to understanding for men and women of the true rubber meets the road daily grind of our lives.
Our hearts need to change and we are powerless without a Higher Power and the actions of changing our hearts will bring us closer to that Power.

The rabbit story. Jimmy and the reporters were fishing at or on a lake. Jimmy’s dogs chased a rabbit. The rabbit jumped into the water and swam. The reporters were ultra bored. The bored reporters concocted the killer rabbit story in order to enliven an otherwise ultra boring day. Moving on from that story...Jimmy was ultra naive and was in way over his head. Think if you will if Elmer Phud was in charge of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.
Now we substituted demented for naïve, the outcome will be even worse.

I saw that picture of the Carter’s with Obiden…Rosalynn and Jimmah looked shrunken. The entire photograph appeared engineered by someone with the same talent level as me. I’ve never photoshopped anything.
Remember the luxury tax? They attached that tax to everything just about. It ruined many small boat manufacturers. They even put that luxury tax on steak! Hence the immediate birth of the Delmonico cut! Crafty butchers!!!
