A hostess at a well-known New York City restaurant was attacked just for asking to see a group's proof of COVID vaccination, a requirement to dine inside in the city.
Exclusive cellphone video obtained by NBC New York shows the Thursday evening attack outside Carmine's Restaurant on the Upper West Side. Around 5 p.m., tempers flared and the hostess stand is nearly tipped over in the mayhem, with a waiter at one point helping carry someone away from the scene.
The 22-year-old hostess asked the group of Texans to show proof of getting the COVID vaccine in order to dine in the restaurant, part of NYC's executive order that went into effect this week. Law enforcement sources said that the hostess was then repeatedly punched in the face and body, and sent to the hospital.

BLM doesn't matter to me, as I've seen the consequences of giving hoodlums a free pass. For instance, my brother-in-law was a long-time worker at Walgreens in SF. The ferals would come in every day and shoplift lots of merchandise. If he even looked at them, as an employee of Walgreens, they'd get in his face and accuse him of hating black people - while they were stealing. And he has been punched in the face by them in the store. He finally retired last year, fearing for his safety. Walgreens shortly after, closed many stores in SF due to rampant shoplifting. Corporations do nothing, politicians do nothing, and MSM gives a free pass to BLM hoodlums.

Everyone knew people of color were more likely to be excluded because they are not vaccinated at the rate of 85%. Asking them to provide documentation is tantamount to racism. They still vote Democrat so how can they complain? Meanwhile the media who knew this would happen have to find other causes. I wonder how many black people are disenfranchised from restaurants because they don’t have ID?

I happened to go up that way a decade or so ago and I decided for time reasons, crime reasons, congestion to arrive at 2 pm in the afternoon at Liberty State Park in NJ to only take a look at Manhattan.
I brought a picnic lunch and sat down at a table to eat.
Then I got into my car and headed out back down I-78 towards Allentown, PA for the most part I beat rush hour traffic but it was rougher on the way back to PA.

I thought my comment was clear but perhaps too subtle. I’ll try again, with no sublety.
One of the significant groups that has been avoiding the jab are black Americans. Some people point to the Tuskegee syphilis experiments as a reason why black Americans don’t trust the government and medical experiments.
Also, black Americans have a reputation for poor impulse control and a tendency to violence.
I look at the video, and this is what I see.
If restaurants and other public venues turn away all of the unvaccinated, then those venues will face a great many black Americans with poor impulse control and a tendency to violence who don’t appreciate being disrespected when they are hungry.
Does it look like the attackers are black?
These antisocial customers should be jailed. Restaurants in NYC ask for proof of vaccination, and the hostess was merely doing her job. I had breakfast in Manhattan recently and had to show proof of vaccination. It never occurred to me to physically assault the host.
