Mark Milley to resign Thursday amid allegations he overstepped his power during the end of Trump's presidency, telling "Fox & Friends" military members have lost confidence in the chairman due to his "irresponsible" behavior.

I agree. It’s just interesting to hear him say that they’d contact the US first. As if they already expect compliance.
Agreed...It’s scary that we have a flag officer in our military as dense as he, even scarier to think there may be more.
Does anyone still think the military would not fire on Americans if ordered to (by a democrat, of course)? I am certain that if a man like Biden told the military to shoot anyone who came to a protest the generals would gladly give the order to the troops. All we can hope is that the troops shoot the generals instead if that sort of order is ever given.

Exactly right It is flat out treason. I would also like to ask General Milley and his military defenders what the chain of command on communicating with an adversary is? Is it only top generals that can reassure the enemy or can any rank do it?
This never came out publicly at the time but after Afghanistan I thought it was a little extreme for nations like Britain to come out with statement from prominent leaders about how they could not rely on the USA and needed to basically divorce their defense strategies from us.
Now it makes sense. This man did immense damage both through this phone call and in his botching of Afghanistan. Perhaps irreversible damage.
My bet is that Biden will give Milley his 5’th star before retirement..

The only one who would be lying would be Woodward if he did lie, but if he did, milley would screaming about it and denying he said it, but he isn’t. Therefore it is ,ogiczl to co clude that it very likely is the truth

Sure does. And once again, we saw the left projecting by accusing Trump of trying to engage in a couple attempt for giving a rally. The left have engaged in one coup attempt after another trying to oust Trump and u dermine his authority. What milley did absolutely defines the word coup- he basically forced his recruits to join him in it too, knowing that they would not want to lose their careers in the military and face being court marshaled (sp?). Or face dishonorable discharges. He basically blackmailed them.
I just don’t see how anyone will be held accountable now.

Very possible. But our allies don't trust a rogue general with their own national security and they are moving away from us as a defense partner thanks to Biden and Milley. The longer he stays now that this is public, the more right they have to question how smart it is to follow US leadership militarily and diplomatically.
Exactly, he and the left have already done tremendous damage to the us, and they continue to do so on the world stage. The left is totally incompetent when it comes to well,everything, but especially foreign affairs. The damage they do takes decades to repair
