A judge in Ohio on Monday said a hospital can’t be forced to give ivermectin to a COVID-19 patient, a reversal of a previous order.
The wife of Jeffrey Smith, a 51-year-old being treated in West Chester Hospital since mid-July, did not provide “clear and convincing evidence” to support her lawsuit against the hospital, Butler County Common Pleas Court Judge Michael Oster Jr. ruled.
Julie Smith, the wife, sued last month, arguing that the hospital should administer ivermectin to her husband because it was prescribed by a doctor, Dr. Fred Wagshul. Doing so has “minimal downside and side effects,” she said in the lawsuit.

WHAT ABOUT THE RIGHT TO TRY ACT ?!

What the HELL is going on?!
Why doesn’t she get her husband out of that Hospital?
I so dont understand why the lady doesnt get the script filled and get it to her husband. Are they refusing to let her see him? I got my script filled...all i had to do was ask my doc for it. I dont have CV19...never have. Its all just a preventative. Man....sometimes i feel like im an extra in a really bad horror movie.
It has apparently been replace with the right to refuse treatment, or the “you’re going to die and you can’t make us save you” mandate.
If he is vented..he can’t swallow it. It would have to be crushed, mixed with water and put down his Oral gastric feeding tube.
The current state of Covid-19 “treatment”: 1) go home and take Tylenol, 2) come back for the ventilator, 3) die. The level of dishonesty going on when it comes to potential treatments is chilling.
Meanwhile: “Our vaccines won’t work unless you are vaccinated, too.” And “Our masks won’t work unless you wear a mask, too.”
There is a lot more magical thinking going into this than science.
Even EpochTimes puts the headline backwards.
“Hospital Refuses to Allow Patient Access to Ivermectin”
If he is on a ventilator he can’t take oral medication.
If the medication has to be administered by IV it will take a nurse to give it to him.
You can inject it in liquid form. How can you deny a doctor’s prescription?
Just order your own stash online and stick it in a drawer in case you need it.
Two things have to be true for this to be an option.
The hospital’s protocols have to permit the doctor to administer ivermectin to COVID patients.
The patient has to be well enough to survive transport to the other hospital.
Before this man got the ivermectin treatment it did not sound as if the second was true.
The one thing we learn from this is that you ASK the doctors at the hospital if they are willing to use ANY and ALL drugs, including Ivermectin, to treat your Covid before you are admitted. If not, drive to another hospital.
If memory serves, there is an IV form.
Yep... checkout and leave
Is he in isolation or something maybe wife could get her own nurse to come in and hook him up. Seems easiest thing would be to transfer him to the ivermectin dr’s hospital
West Chester Hospital is strung out on Politics
The previous poster had suggested that the wife give the patient the drug but the patient was tubed and vented and probably being fed via a feeding tube; the nurses would at minimum have to assist and teach the wife how such a med is done and then, in light of the court order, turn their backs and pretend they didn’t see the wife give the drug. The IV version still would require the assistance of the staff to help the wife give the drug intravenously. It would have to be mixed at minimum in a syringe for IV pushes but some drugs need to be given more slowly via a bag and tubing. Since the staff has to do what the hospital says, they couldn’t assist or allow the wife to do the treatments(unless their backs were turned).
