Vaccine mandates are unconstitutional and un-American.
I chose to be vaccinated because of my age and poor health condition, but no one should be forced. That would be tyranny.
Not trusting the elites in government is not unusual or extreme. True Americans have been not trusting government since 1776 and before.
Amen Jim!
This is exactly why I am against begging for a “religious exemption”. We already have the God given, inalienable right to say NO or even to say nothing!
There is no authority or jurisdiction for any vaccine inquisition.
I agree. But since I am a man. Man dates would naturally be gay. Kinda against that but what you do in your own bedroom.... long as you don’t try to man date me.Not interested in your contrived homosexual fantasies.
Agreed.
Whatever.../S
LOL!
Groveling before Governors reduces rights to “privileges”.
So you are not against man dates I see.
Why don’t you visit a gay website for your homosexual fantasies?
I posted here about covid vaccination mandates, which I am against.
Likewise, I chose to get stuck w/ the J&J, being ~70 with various serious ailments, but mainly in an effort to protect my wife, who has bone cancer, diabetes-2, and bad kidneys -- if she gets the Wu-Flu she'll probably die, and she ain't ready to yet. She elected the Pfizer, and we've got our fingers crossed.
I'm a vocal advocate of "my body, my choice" with regard to these so-called vaccines. I wear the Babylon Bee's "I Identify As Vaccinated" cap, which has initiated a few interesting conversations with other Ithaca residents (them being liberals, of course, Ithaca being the City Of Evil).
While we observe daily that an awful lot of things are going to hell, we still have the ability and responsibility to resist tyranny in all its forms, especially when it impinges on our own lives and family. I refuse to give in, and I continue to hope and pray to Almighty God that we get this country turned around.
God Bless you Jim, your family, thank you for FreeRepublic, and God Bless America.

At some point that may be moot, since the vaccine record is a CDC document and as such is obviously tracked and traceable, but it is the principle that matters.
Much appreciated, thanks Berlin_Freeper.
We got The Jabs before the CDC finally admitted that they didn't prevent infection or transmission, and only reduced the severity of symptoms. But that reduction is important to us as seniors with multiple comorbidities.
No one should be forced to get injected with this or any chemical or biological agent. We are in a very dangerous time, and it may get worse before it gets better. But I believe and pray that it will get better.
Prayers up for all who suffer, and for all who minister to them. Dear God, please help us get through this and see a better day.
The elites in the current government ignore that the Constitution reins THEM in, not the people.
It’s not to control the people.
It’s to control the government.
Seems that not enough people are aware of that and seem to think the government has the right to tell us what to do.
Glad to hear that you have been vaccinated. Thanks for all you do.
We also have a constitutional right not to be taxed by the federal government for medicare, medicad, obamacare or welfare but the supreme court in each case made sure to create law out of thin air when they voted to make all those things constitutional. And these are just examples. There are hundreds more unconstitutional laws on the books, all approved by the Supreme Court.
A Red Cross employee asked me to wear a mask even though I had Covid and recovered and have been vaccinated.
She said there is a sick person in the hallway coughing.
I am not responsible for some sick person. They are responsible for themselves.
Then she says this pandemic would be over if everyone just wore a mask. I reminded her that viruses never go away. We still have measels, mumps, etc even though we have mass vaccinations.
She said is it crazy that people refuse to wear a mask.
I told her that it is crazy to believe you can control the behavior of 8 billion people.
The Supreme Court has upheld mandatory vaccination. (Jacobson v. Massachusetts, 197 U.S. 11 (1905))
We accept mandatory vaccination of children before they enter school. This has been upheld by the SCOTUS on numerous challenges.
I think this horse left the barn long, long ago.
We have gone from quarantine the sick to quarantine the healthy.
We have gone from vaccinate the vulnerable to mandatory vaccination.
Individual liberty has been shredded on this subject for a century.
Once upon a time the Supreme Court upheld slavery. Didn’t make it right and didn’t make it constitutional.
Got an email at work requiring a reply...
Vax?
No vax?

I elected the third option.
The reasoning parallels your point.
Also, once I open the door to medical info, this might waive future privacy rights.
Have to be cautious
