Once upon a time the Supreme Court upheld slavery. Didn’t make it right and didn’t make it constitutional.

I agree with you, but simply citing the obvious.

She said is it crazy that people refuse to wear a mask.

All the mask does is protect politicians so they won't be blamed for doing nothing when cases surge. Illinois went back to requiring masks for indoor public spaces yesterday. The governor may have timed the order correctly this time to make himself look good. I think we are are just about at the peak. Missouri peaked several weeks ago.

That does not make the vaccine wrong. Throughout history people have used good things to accomplish evil. That does not make the things themself evil

They still prevent infection and transmission just not as effectively with some of the new variants. They do prevent almost all serious illness and death even with the new variants which is an admirable goal. i know the boosters are much maligned but many vaccines require a booster (tetanus, whooping cough, meningococcus, pneumococcus, hepatitis B, measles, mumps, rubella just off the top of my head) and likely a booster will raise the efficacy on the prevention again

The Supreme Court also upholds abortion. Doesn’t make it right, doesn’t make it constitutional. God is watching and will judge harshly.

I agree 100%.

All medical treatments are a choice and can not be forced.

Doesn’t matter if someone is for or against vaccinations.

We all stand to lose if vaccines become forced on to people.

It’s a step towards forced other medical treatments, including abortions for example, if we allow any medical care to become a mandate.

I.D.s or “passports” to signify ones vaccine status is a direct privacy violation and again a prelude to more nefarious actions.

The Constitution means everything and I’m tired of Leftist ignoring it.
We can’t allow chipping away little by little.

Mandating the vaccine is wrong. Depriving Americans of their God-given fundamental rights is evil.

Government working through powerful corporate interests to deprive us of our God-given rights (’for our own good’) is a slippery slope to totalitarianism.

My point exactly. Just because mandates are evil does not make the vaccine evil as some are saying. We are s to be able to separate the two things. one can be for the vaccine for those that want it and against mandates

I got the vax because of age. My take is the people making most of the decisions have a conflict of interest and are using young Americans as human shields. Fauci is 80, Biden is close to that. The Illinois governor is ~56 but likely has the health profile of a 90 year person because of his extreme obesity.

This thread is only about the movement toward mandates.
Don’t make it about the vax.

Yes. It makes no sense that the evil people who evilly perpetrated the man-made 'virus' would continue on with an evil vax as phase two.

I'm very sure they felt bad about killing so many people in a mad power grab and decided to make up for it with a safe and effective 'vaccine'. For the children and the old people.

After all, even bad men love their mamas. Amirite?

That benefit alone is, to me, worth getting jabbed, and is the primary reason my wife and I did.

I am as yet unconvinced about efficacy with regard to infection and transmission. Viruses mutate, it's what they do, RNA viruses especially.

I've been getting an annual "flu shot" for many years, because every year the flu is different. And every year it's a crapshoot as to how effective it will be against the variants-du-jour. But the annual flu shot isn't marketed as a "booster" on the original flu shot, and therein lies my objection to the current nomenclature.

I think it would be a lot more honest if they just said, "The WuFlu virus is mutating like all viruses do, and we'll be rolling out a new shot as rapidly as we can figure out what it's doing next."

In any case, I don't expect this mess to settle down for a few years, and we may never know the truth about what really happened in 2020. So it goes.

So it goes. We can only make the best decision we can with the information currently available.

Jim, I understand but of course, you know that the jab doesn't actually prevent one from catching Wuhan Virus.

You might already have this but it's great for everyone to have some at hand, vaxxed or unvaxxed. If you dont, it's not going to hurt you to take it if you think you might have Wuhan Virus so why not keep a supply on hand? Suspenders and belt.

Ivermectin or HCQ.
Quercetin
Vitamin C
Vitamin D3
Zinc
Magnesium.

In my research I've found that a fingertip pulse oximeter reading change will indicate early signs of Wuhan Virus (if you have low oxygen saturation) so I got one to give myself the earliest treatment. You might already have one. God bless you, my FRiend.

I think it’s good to have a large unvaxxed control group, since the usual scientific control group used to approve these sort of things was spoilt in the “best interests” of those who received the placebo. Sure. That made sense.

One, it’s good science to have a control group, so I volunteer. We also should keep track of who gets ivermectin, or any other reported treatment, both vaxxed and unvaxxed, and study it like sane people do who honestly want the best outcome for the most Americans.

Two, since the disease is apparently so survivable by those who are not obese or well seasoned citizens or have other co-morbidities or issues, if the worst case scenario comes into play and there is some sort terrible long term harm or increase in death because of the vax, we will need a large enough population left over to run things and make it all right again, assuming that our surviving enemies allow it.

I hope that about the time I’m in the old enough to be in the need the vax category, God grant me health to live that long, the long term effects of both virus and vax will be well documented, or there might be some discovery of something like ivermectin or another treatment that renders it all moot.

Perhaps the most likely outcome is the vax will be shown to offer some protection, for some time, against specific variants, with some serious and not so serious adverse reaction in a relatively small percentage of those getting it, and we’ll decide over time if it’s worth the risk for people in different categories and move on with life.

If, you believe as I do, that the virus was produced in a lab, there are all kinds of dark scenarios that are possible even if unlikely, and the MRNA vax that allows breakthrough cases is also suspect, simply because both are examples of man’s latest attempts with the newest technology of trying to supplant God’s role as the creator of life.

People jigger up new virus variants and change or trick the building blocks of what we are, and we are shocked when plans made by mortals go awry, and will be even more shocked if tyrants, fanatics and cheats use whatever power is discovered by these efforts, well intentioned or no, to kill off or enslave “enemies” or simply enrich themselves.

I pray the vax works and doesn’t harm my family who have all taken it. Perhaps the virus will kill me and I’ll pay that price for guessing wrong in the whole risk assesment game, but I’ll have died a free American making an informed choice based on what information I had at the time. I’m young enough for the current covid mortality numbers to favor me and old enough where it wouldn’t be a total tragedy if the Lord calls me via the Wuflu.

The respect for freedom of choice is the cure. We should like start a country based on that or something.

I kind of thought that about the Pfizer. But when I read that two top FDA officials resigned because of disagreements with CDC, I lost what little remaining trust I had.

The government is clueless.
