A U.S. Marine from Utah was among the 13 U.S. service members who were killed in Thursday's attack outside the Kabul airport, his family has confirmed.

Staff Sgt. Taylor Hoover was killed in the suicide bombing at the Kabul airport that also left more than 100 Afghans dead, Hoover's family told KSL-TV on Friday. God bless you for your ultimate sacrifice, Sgt. Hoover.
