President Joe Biden said on Aug. 22 that his administration is hoping the U.S.-led Afghanistan evacuation will end by the self-imposed Aug. 31 deadline, adding that there is still “a long way to go and a lot could still go wrong.”
Speaking at the White House, Biden said there have been “discussions among” those in the White House “and the military” to potentially extend the operation past Aug. 31. But the “first priority,” he said, is to evacuate Americans, stressing that his administration “is working hard and as fast as we can to get people out. That’s our mission. That’s our goal.”
Over the weekend, the evacuation was marred by more deaths and chaos as throngs of people attempted to crowd into the Kabul airport—one of the few evacuation points in Afghanistan. The UK Ministry of Defense confirmed on Aug. 22 that at least seven people died during the crush, according to The Associated Press.
Since the Taliban terrorist organization took over the country last week, Biden has faced unprecedented criticism from a number of angles on how his administration is handling the pullout and military-led evacuation. In public comments, the president has repeatedly been on the defensive and said it was necessary to withdraw from Afghanistan now, although serious questions remain about the security situation on the ground.
Again on Aug. 22, Biden mounted a defense of his administration and argued there would be no way to “evacuate this many people” without “pain and loss.” So far, 28,000 people have been airlifted out of Kabul since Aug. 14, he said.

” A lot can still go wrong...”. A rational observer regardless of political beliefs will argue that much will go wrong in Afghanistan in the next two months. The incometence and unforced errors made by the Biden cabal will all but guarentee that many American civilians and deployed military will die. Face it. the Biden cabal has put the US citizens and soldiers at the tender mercies and whims of the Taliban. At their core the Taliban are jihadist extremest. Many of them , who have lost many friends and relatives in this war, want one more crack at the hated Americans and believe that if they die fighting infidels, wonderful heavenly rewards await them. Its fairly certain that “a lot will go wrong”.
The opposite of a cheerleading person in charge who at very least expects some form of victory.

Seemsike they’re really hoping for an American to be killed so they have an excuse and support to extend the mission. They probably expected the Taliban to oblige by now.
So basically he’s saying that the cluster-f*ck that has already transpired under his direction, isn’t a result of things going wrong.

Much went wrong to get him “elected “.
Much has gone wrong to get to where we are now.
Much more is going to go wrong in the near future.
Much, much more is going to go wrong the longer he is there.
I would say, “break out the popcorn”, but with so many American lives at stake and our reputation around the world swirling down the crapper with Biden’s hand on the handle, I’m not much in the mood for popcorn.
Well, for starters he has a cabinet that focuses on people plugging other peoples assholes.

When it comes to Afghanistan there is a refusal not only by the media and the so called (in name only) democratic party but by Christian leaders like Pope Francis to approach redressing the Taliban for it being a theocracy following the sharia creed which denies free will and is authorized by Our Creator to execute non believers.
