Don’t Panic, But Breakthrough Cases May Be a Bigger Problem Than You’ve Been Told - Current public-health messaging may understate the scale and risk
NY Magazine ^ | 08/12/2021 | David Wallace-Wells

Posted on 08/12/2021 6:48:39 AM PDT by Fury

The term itself, perhaps, is a problem. “Breakthrough” sounds bad — implying an immune-escape mutation, likely rare, and therefore alarming.

The vaccines were never tested to prevent transmission, only symptomatic disease, and those who knew the science expected, from the outset, that we would see some number of such cases, and that they would be, overwhelmingly, mild.

n.b. - That author is coming out with a book - "The Unihabitable Earth" next month.

With that said, I found this article interesting. He makes a good case for public health simply not doing their job to communicate effectively - something that will not be easily resolved until people like Fauci are kicked back into their office and away from the cameras.

The mandatory “vaccines” have nothing to do with the virus.

There is something else they want to get into your body.

Don't panic...

Please panic! With Trump out of the news, COVID fear porn is all we've got left to sell!

Yeah. When an article starts out with those two words, the alarm goes off for sure.

What happened to the PSA messaging:

Don't be selfish.

Get the vaccine to keep others safe.

Classic long con--bait and switch tactics.

The vast majority of the pro-vaxx sheeple out there are still peddling the fraudulent message and howling "the science is settled".

Modified limited hang-out.

BTW, because "Science!"™

Chinese bioweapon.

They suckered us (or was it more sinister?) to use the spike protein as the basis for a "vaccine" : and the manufacturers (at best) were looking to test and/or normalize mRNA technology on a mass scale in humans, because of what they saw as HUGE future applicability for treating, say, cancer.

Public health in this country has shown itself for the joke that it is. NO ONE should trust information coming out of these bureaucracies. Its not just about effective communication. Its about proper analysis of the facts and then proper communication. As things stand, they are just the mouth piece of the party. If they want to be trusted and listened to, they need to be able to perform such independent analysis of raw data and then communicate it correctly to the populace, including percentages and comparisons to other daily life events so that people understand their risks. For example, you have a MUCH greater risk of dying in a car accident than you do of dying via this virus- and no one thinks twice about getting in a car.

I’m not saying they need to do the lab work- I’m saying they need to be able to understand the lab reports (assuming those reports aren’t just fudged) and translate them into language that common people will understand.

What? Something is different than what we were told? How can that be?

What’s amazing is how covid vaccination zealots roll with the goalpost’s changing as if it is what they expected back when they got their vaccinations. They will argue vehemently that what’s happening now isn’t a surprise, even though it clearly isn’t what we were told back in January. Just look at the daily vaccination thread to see...

Flimsy attempt to keep the fear and the lockdowns going — by adopting an open-ended concept of what constitutes a “case,” where a mild temperature lasting a day is viewed the same as the hospitalization of a patient with underlying conditions.

They lied to everyone.

But—those of us who suspected they were lying (and therefore did not take the vaccine) are being vindicated.

Those who were taken in by the lies are going to be very angry...

but often Homo Sapiens gets mad at those who were smart enough to see the lies, not those who told the lies.

We are seeing some of that around here lately.

I have trouble believing that a NATURAL virus gets stronger and stronger as it replicates. Especially since they have said it spreads easier but is not as dangerous.

My mind tells me this is NOT a natural course. How is it spreading?? People aren't coughing in each others faces.

New Drugs Found to Cause Side Effects Years After Approval

Almost one-third of new drugs approved by the FDA ended up years later with warnings about unexpected,
sometimes life-threatening side effects.
The results covered all 222 prescription drugs approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration from 2001 through 2010.
The researchers looked at potential problems that cropped up during routine monitoring
that's done once a medicine is on the market.
The 71 flagged drugs included top-sellers for treating depression, arthritis,
infections and blood clots. Safety issues included risks
for serious skin reactions, liver damage, cancer and even death

Don’t be selfish.

Get the vaccine to keep others safe.

This is the first time in history where they’re pitching the idea of you taking a vaccine to protect someone else. No actual vaccine works that way.

Well, that'll happen if you turn a pandemic into a political tool to bludgeon one man out of office and then keep finding reasons to not give back power after you've gotten him un-personed.

“The vaccines were never tested to prevent transmission...”

This is absolutely false. We have published documents from their trials showing they knew the vaccines did not prevent transmission.
