Mike Carey, former President Donald Trump’s preferred candidate, won the Republican nomination in the primary for Ohio’s 15th congressional district special election on Tuesday.
The result is a win for the former president, who had the power of his endorsement questioned after backing a losing candidate in a Texas special election last week.

Yay! One small victory at a time will lead ultimately to NATIONWIDE VICTORY.
At the end of the day no one knows the candidates “hopefully” as well as those closest to them.
That was a VERY unusual situation with 2 conventional GOP candidates running against each other in an OPEN election. A Trump endorsement almost always will be a positive thing.
Nina Turner was defeated. Ohio ain’t sending that nut job to DC.

in the future when two Trump supporting candidates are facing off, and apparently equally effective politicians, it would be best for The Donald to stay neutral.

How bout this... politicians should do what is best for their constituents... pretty simple.
He had already supported her in the open primary so it would have been weird to just suddenly drop support.
The “problem” was that 2 GOP candidates advanced. I don’t think anyone was expecting that to happen. It’s not a hugely GOP district where that might normally be expected.
It seems that the winning Texas candidate agrees with Trump on most issues, anyways, so the MSM is throwing a bunch of Nothing around, as if it’s a political victory for The Left, when, in reality, The Left lost.
Okay all you “The Trump magic is gone because his choice didn’t win in Texas,” people can come out of your basement waving your MEGA flag.
