Breaking News: New York will require proof of vaccination for indoor dining and gyms, Mayor Bill de Blasio plans to announce. It’s believed to be the first U.S. city to do so.
Speaking of employers, anyone else wondering why Congress immunized these public employees from CoupFlu related liability....
....but is refusing to protect businesses?
And why aren’t businesses, large and small, out there demanding the same kind of liability protection from Congress?!

The irony is even the far left employees, all of who took the vaccine, were incensed by the email and just deleted it.
that’s interesting as before i sent off my email i checked with three different lawyers who all told me i was under no obligation to inform my employer of my vaccination status.

Employers are not administering the vaccines so they would not fall under the PREP act. Once the vaccines are FDA approved company’s will have full indemnity to require them. The military is mandating September for the troops you can read the writing on the wall they won’t mandate it until it’s FDA approved so expect approval by September. At that point Jacobson v. Massachusetts, 197 U.S. 11 also kicks in and the US government can with the Supreme Court’s blessing mandate vaccines for ever citizen they won’t even hear a case against it as it’s settled law via that ruling for approved vaccinations in the general instead of public health.
Will the last Patriot to leave NYC (if there are any left) please bring the flag.
You don’t have to tell them but you are not protected under HIPAA so say that’s why you are not disclosing the information it’s not protected from your employer. It’s up to your employer if they take actions based on your refusal but you have zero federal recourse against them. Hipaa also has no individual recourse path it’s specifically for providers. It was passed to keep insurers from excluding the gays with HIV that’s it’s primary function.

In the oil patch vaccinated guys get first call contract / consulting spots every person on my last crew was Pfizer the service company who put the crew together was not even calling people back who refused to provide proof or flat out said they were not vaxed Texas is at will and contract is on call. Anyone can obtain a vaccination card and fill in the dates and sign it is n the back.

It’s not that hard to verify the lot and batch number to the date and location of the data on the card. So unless you made friends with some who has all that correct info it’s easy to find the fakes. The County and state health dept can and will verify by name, date, and location of vaccination if you provide them with the information first they will come back with yea that is valid or no it is not. HIPAA doesn’t apply to County and State health services. Municipal offices and state services are specifically exempted look at the link in my other post it has all the relevant information from hhs themselves. The release form you signed to get the vaccines in the first place released that information to every agency who wants it local, state, federal.
But … wouldn’t that be racist for the same reason that requiring voter ID is racist?
