Republican Alabama Sen. Tommy Tuberville said today “people should be arrested for what they did” in the Jan. 6 Capitol attack, and he “stands behind the Capitol police 100 percent.”

If anyone in the Capitol building was on surveillance destroying or damaging property ,then yes charges should be filed related to that. Otherwise it’s all nonsense! The good Senator did not mention Ashli Babbitt at all , now did he?????

Hundreds walked through and did not touch one thing. Was the Capitol building actually closed on Jan 6th? Or was an order given to....beginning now...stop everyone from entering....because we know some LE were holding the door for citizens.
Have any R’s spoken out similarly about the far worse nonstop, year-long communist riots in Seattle, Portland, Minneapolis and elsewhere?

Come on, where do you stand o n them burning looting, destroying assaulting, attacking people’s property- driving people out of restaurants by using violence, shutting down major throughways illegally, illegally taking over city blocks while using illegal firearms to do so?

The few causing real damaged should have already been adjudicated and sent home. The rest should never have been detained at all. The fbi people involved should be convicted.

I haven’t heard him say anything about peaceful protestors being treated like North Korean political prisoners, held in solitary confinement, simply for speaking their mind while invited into the capitol-
Not picking on just him- i have heard very few senators ‘on our side’ speak out about the atrocities of the political prisoners
