The White House is seeking $1 billion to help resettle Afghan personnel who worked with the U.S. military, according to multiple reports.
People familiar with the matter told Bloomberg News that the request was made last Friday. The money would be divided between the Defense Department and State Department, and $25 million would go to Health and Human Services’ Office of Refugee Resettlement.
The money would cover temporary shelter, resettlement, and other necessities.

Just because they were against the Tally-ban does not mean they are pro-free speech, pro-free exercise of religion, and that they don’t want to slash your throat.
This is madness.
It’s not that easy. These folks will be family. They’ll arrive with multiple mouths to feed. They will need housing. They will need health care. They will need potentially language training. And if you don’t want to do this forever they will need jobs.
It is like Vietnam. Anyone who participated in support of the American troop mission will be executed when the Taliban arrive, just as Vietnamese face to death when the Viet Cong arrived. Overall 1 billion is about the right amount, depending on how many there will be.
If you want to see how this actually configures, head on over to YouTube and have a look at the videos of logistics support inside the American bases. There were malls inside those military bases. Burger King. Souvenir shops. Any Afghan civilians working there already have a death sentence on them. They were Afghan civilians who worked inside the base and did not wear a suicide vest or shoot up a bunch of troops once they got in.
So now they will have a path to citizenship.

The ones now in danger because they helped us need to be taken out of danger. For one thing, if they aren’t, others will refuse to help us because they know we won’t have their backs. This is a witness protection program.
