My interaction with General Donahoe serves as a microcosm of the American military’s cultural rot. Here we have a two-star General who spends his days on social media hyping a vaccine for an illness that poses minimal risk to his troops. When pressed on why America can’t win wars and why he embraces policies that treat healthy people like biohazards, his first response is to accuse his critics of treachery and then block them from view.
This is what $693 billion a year buys you: unbridled arrogance from the leaders of a military that can’t win against third world tribesmen armed with small arms and homemade explosives. A significant portion of our military leaders, like General Donahoe, are totally detached from reality. They face no consequences for losing wars or losing troops to preventable suicides. Many of them don’t really command anything at all. They are so ensconced in layers of bureaucrats, staff, operations and logistics shops, briefs, intelligence reports, public affairs officials, and aides that there is usually no danger of the public uncovering their true character, lack of leadership, or empty careers.
Twitter, for all its many flaws, provides a direct line into the thought process and values of the military’s elite class. Too often, the minds of our great and courageous “warriors” are filled with nothing more than anodyne policy statements, automatic deference to other members of the elite expert class, and received wisdom from the mouths of MSNBC hosts. A painful lesson for patriotic citizens, perhaps, but a necessary one.

General Donahoe looks about 2 years old. They are all woke globalist cowards that simp for every communist, globalist, racist, America hating, perverted homo and tranny cause to come down the line.
Everyone at flag rank today is trash.
Schwarzkopf was America’s last General.
Current ‘military leadership’? Not seeing it....
Actual Warriors have been long purged from the General Staffs. Such people don’t have a herd mentality or much tolerance for REMF @$$kissers. Nope. The careerist REMF s make sure that their ranks are filled only with like-minded bureaucrats. The US Military is run by politically reliable people and competence on the battlefield is not a requirement or even desired. They sport “combat” badges and “valor” medals but are suspiciously short on actual combat experience. Milly is a sterling example of a privileged loud-mouthed bully and an incompetent @ss. The Navy’s incompetence is amply demonstrated with their destroyers ramming into giant cargo vessels.
Though I don’t see much shame in losing to Afghan goat herders. Everyone else has.
We DO know because it is manifest day after day, that the Pentagon these days is being run by the equivalent of a bunch of high school girls.
I guess if the main enemy the country faces is a handful of white supremacists in this country, it's a war that they won because the enemy is a chimera.
Believe it was Rush that ‘recoined’ the phrase ‘Perfumed Princes’ when it came to some of the so called Military Commanders....

Col. D. Hackworth was the first to use it, adding to his already considerable fame; Rush was on the air in those days and did not coin it.
This country was never designed to have career military leaders. It was founded by men who left their homes and estates behind when duty called, then went back and earned an honest living after the job was done instead of planting themselves in D.C. and living as welfare cases for the rest of their careers.
Understatement of the ages. Our military let the chinese take over without firing a shot.
The US military should have screamed bloody murder 30 years ago when the USA first stated foolishly off shoring industries TO CHINA and elsewhere. It is a matter of national security and they should have led the charge against it.
No, it doesn’t. If America deserved better Military Leadership. America would have better Military leadership. As a Nation and as a Military, one gets the leadership they deserve. America, as a Nation and as a Military is reaping the seeds it has sown. May the harvest be bountiful and bitter.
The WWII Generals played team sports like baseball and football.
They knew the importance of teamwork.
For the last 4o years, the Army has focused on two things, running and appearance.
That has produced generals who are focused on themselves.
The Kenyanesian Usurper ran off all the warriors.
All we have left are leftists as a result of ALL of our elected AND appointed throwing out the Constitution and swearing in a British subject/Kenyan/Indonesian in direct violation of that Constitution.
The founders knew what they were doing when they excluded from being President anyone who had more than ONE nationality with the natural born citizen clause.
“What happened?”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
ALL of our elected AND appointed swore in a non-natural born citizen in direct violation of the Constitution, that’s what happened.
Schwarzkopf at least had the ‘advantages’ of an enemy that offered a stand-up fight and a political leadership that feared a protracted engagement that might devolve into an insurgency. It’d be interesting to speculate on what he would have done.
Yep. Col. David Hackworth.
Of course Col Hackworth is/was more ‘qualified’ and believable with his use of term.
I agree ten times over with what Josiah Lipincott said in his article. I agree this much in part because of watching that arrogant bastard Milley tell our representatives in Congress that he was all for teaching or discussing a fn “theory” in our academies that “all white people are racists”. What’s to discuss you pompous, dim witted moron? You just shot the finger at 80 million Americans! And, for the most part, they are the ones that pay for the military!
Go straight to hell Mr. Milley. May you soon be driving a bus in Detroit.
