Albany Mayor Kathy Sheehan has declared a state of emergency after recent gun violence.
The city is also ordering the closure of Cafe Hollywood on Lark Street after a number of police calls.
That order was signed late Friday, with Mayor Sheehan noting a 22% increase in the number of shots fired incidents in the past 28 days compared to the same time last year.

If only New York had sensible gun control laws… oh wait… it has some of the most stringent laws on the books.
If only there was some way to enforce those laws… like police or something…
But now you see the communist control kicking in. They’ll just shut down businesses that are “problematic” by emergency order.

And ban guns, claiming that they are ‘too dangerous to own during a crisis’ (Hence the reason for the crisis declaration which will NEVER be lifted once declared)
Next step is to make anyone owning guns wear masks, put bright yellow star on their chests and tattoo their forearms. Then, for those owning AR-15s, you have to wear a target on your back.
