Pingdemic means supermarket supply chains ‘starting to fail’

Supermarket supply chains are "starting to fail" because the "pingdemic" is sending thousands of workers into self-isolation, food industry leaders warned on Wednesday night.

Shop shelves in some areas were empty of basic supplies, while petrol stations ran out of fuel as the NHS Test and Trace app threatened to bring parts of the economy to a standstill. MPs and industry leaders urged the Government to ease the growing crisis by including supermarket staff, lorry drivers and other frontline workers on a list of those exempted from automatic self-isolation when 'pinged' by the app as a contact of someone with Covid.

OK, at first I wanted to say BS.

But then I realized it is in England.

No surprise, English government has been a disaster for hundreds of years.

Corruption and worthless Royals and elites created this for generations.

Goodness. Anyone else get the impression, that the worldwide response to covid has been overkill?

We have treated the virus as if it is the return of the Bubonic plague from medieval Europe. And now, the less serious Delta variant is being treated as if it is the return of the plague or return of smallpox.

At what point do we realize, that viruses and bacteria are out there, and will always be out there, but that life can’t come to a complete halt because of a virus? At what point do our leaders recognize, that there is a cost/benefit to everything in life, and that the response to covid has had some serious negative consequences to all of us?

Instead of having empty grocery shelves, they should simply shelve the “Test and Trace App.” Then the grocery shelves would be full again.

How did these people rule the world for so long?

Yep been a lot of bare spaces on the shelves in stores during
the past year or so. I’ve not had much problem getting our
normal necessary items. We’ve got Walmart and another chain
grocery store nearby. Two gas stations on the corner and
not a problem but now their prices are rising rapidly.

Gee, I have an idea. Uninstall the app. Can you imagine the history books? Starvation due to listening to an app.

Uh, those pics could have been of U.S. shelves a while back. Different secondary causes, but same prime cause: A Fauci sponsored virus from ...cannot name country, but it was CHINA. Backed in both countries by a compliant and corrupt media.

It’s a power grab I believe.
Worldwide.

They don’t care how many it kills and how many millions more will suffer.

Assume our leaders our heartless and evil to the core.

They act like it don’t they?

Not necessarily, went to Kroger today to get a donut for my daughter, they had none at 930am, the case was completely empty. I asked the worker there and she said not enough people came to work so they weren’t made.

I keep thinking of that Big Bang Theory episode where the gang is giggling ecstatically while someone in China flips their lights on and off over the Internet.

“Ping. Ping. Ping. That pretty funny, they all go home, now!”

People will not survive if they don’t end these stupid lockdowns.
Now they kill people with lockdowns when they still have not addressed the elephant in the room—-CCP biowarfare.
Take out all of the bio weapons labs.
Take out the CIA and the FBI tool for that matter.
These people are NOT operating in our best interests.
They are obviously exercising population control and do not care if millions die from lack of food also.
How does Pelosi get HER refrigerator full when the rest of us can’t find what we need in the grocery store?
There are jobs galore, but they are still paying people not to work.
What’s up with this?
Stores can’t even find people to stock the shelves!

I was in the Newtown (CT) public library this morning and they had signs plastered all over the place stating that while masks were no longer required if one was vaccinated but sternly stated that in the children's section, the masks had to be worn by all regardless.

How stupid is that? Children are the absolute safest of all and have virtually zero chance of dying from COVID.

Anyway, I didn't need any children's books so I happily left the stupid mask in my pocket. And no, I'm not vaccinated.

Are you in the UK?

If not, what part of US?

We’ve not seen empty shelves, from this PlanDemIc, in well over a year. And, even during the height...there were mainly empty shelves of rubbing alcohol, hand wipes and sometimes various meats, in the meat dept.

All else has been in stock, as always was.

If there ever was a time for a payroll tax holiday and basic supply side arguments, this is it. GOP too bothered with Ben and Jerry’s, and Cuba Libre to create the narrative though.

England, like the US and other developed countries will have inflation for a while, it’s due to that ignored thing that used to be known as supply and demand.

When that inflation wanes everyone will be in a panic over deflation for the same reason, supply and demand.
