Roets' country has been rocked by riots that followed the recent arrest of former South African President Jacob Zuma, according to the BBC.
Amid rampant looting, more than 200 people have been killed in the violent protests.
South African President Cyril Ramaphosa said the violence was part of a plan, and not spontaneous.
"It is quite clear that all these incidents of unrest and looting were instigated -- there were people who planned it and co-ordinated it," he said, calling the rioting an effort to wreck democracy.

I don’t get why people who receive ‘cradle to grave’ subsistence income and benefits (GRATIS) from the American taxpayer have anything else to ‘demonstrate’ FOR!
I mean...minorities receive favored status in lending, education, employment, in the courts....in fact, free EVERYTHING under the sun!!!!
All the while I am driving a 2007 car, struggling to make home repairs, to pay for essentials, to cope with rising taxes, the rising cost of mu OWN insurance, etc.
How can you demand more if I am paying for the food you eat, for the roof over your head, for your doctor treatment, for your education, etc. .... did I miss a spot??

There is a common thread to the riots and destruction in the USA. I can’t quite put my finger on it.
The lesson to be learned is that savages can be put in a civilized place, but they will continue to practice the ways of the savages, rather than learn how to live as civilized people.
African tribes have always been fighting among themselves. Some of them finally figured out that they didn't have to kill rival tribe members. They could 'loot' the other tribes and sell the prisoners to the Muslims. It was a twofer for them. Get rid of the enemy and make money.
We left a liberal college town and moved to a very conservative small town. Everybody knows everybody and everybody knows who is doing wrong. There won’t be any BLM marches through town.
Well, step #1 in saving SA would be "wrecking democracy", maybe the rioters are doing the Lord's work...
