CNN’s Anna Coren reports from Kabul, Afghanistan, with new evidence of atrocities committed by the Taliban. Video has emerged of Afghan commandos being shot dead after an apparent surrender. The Taliban rejects the video, saying it is fabricated.

They should make sure that all the Afghan soldiers see this and realize that surrender is a death sentence. It might make them fight harder. But probably it will convince them to abandon the force.
How much time have you spent in AFG? Even regular ANA fought well with good leadership. These guys were the best, but made the mistake of thinking they could go home. Unfortunately that was impossible as because they kicked ass, they were hated.
This is what happens when you are abandoned.
They flew Russian MI-17s and could actually do maintenance on them until the US made them use Hh-60s.

What a damn mess. Twenty years, American lives lost/maimed and trillions of our hard earned tax dollars...for what?
Then our troops pull out leaving millions upon millions in military hardware for the taking. Hummers, tanks, artillery, you name it... the Taliban seized.
What was the objective? Kill terrorist? Did we not do this within the first few years?
I dunno, this all just torques me.
We spent 20 years, damned near a trillion dollars, and thousands of American lives and limbs trying to train these useless monkeys to fight for themselves.
This is the result.
And whether or not I personally spent any time there is irrelevant. I know several who did. So, nice try on that. I did my time in another part of the world for Uncle Sam.

This is likely one of the reasons Obama and Biden had Churchill's bust removed when they occupied the White House. (I'll bet they had it destroyed this time to ensure another non-Leftist wouldn't bring the bust of this great man back into the White House as a newly elected President Trump did. (Being an inveterate Winston Churchill admirer, I celebrated this with gusto, and it provides another reason on top of all the others I admire President Trump)
