Haiti is a lost cause.

Pity the poor Haitian people. Every corrupt opportunist in the U.S. - drug and child smugglers - and others around the world have been trashing Haiti for as long as anyone can remember.

The assailants claimed to be agents with the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration, according to videos taken by people in the area of the president’s home. Moïse, 53, lives in Pelerin 5, a neighborhood just above the hills in the capital.
On the videos, someone with an American accent is heard saying in English over a speaker, “DEA operation. Everybody stand down. DEA operation. Everybody back up, stand down.”
Clintons active lately it seems
Also:
Sources said the assailants, one of whom spoke in English with an American accent, were not with the DEA.
“These were mercenaries,” a high-ranking Haitian government official said.
Residents report hearing high-powered rounds fired with precision, and seeing men dressed in black running through the neighborhoods. There are also reports of a grenade going off and drones being used.
The president’s death will throw Haiti into further into disarray. Moïse had faced mounting protests over his governance amid a deepening political and constitutional crisis, questions about his legitimacy and accusations that he used armed gangs to remain in power.
Haitian gun laws are obviously not strict enough.
They would certainly not be that obvious about it. Also, we’re fine with the current Haitian government, as corrupt as all of them. No need to stir up hysterical Haiti again.
I have met numerous average South Florida Haitians, many of them actually born and raised in the US, and I’ve always been stunned by the violence of their politics. For one thing, most of them are related to someone in government and it virtually gets down to bitter family rivalries.
See? Aye, Yay!

At around 1am on Wednesday July 7, a group of unidentified people, including some speaking Spanish, attacked the private residence of the president, mortally wounding the head of state. The First Lady suffered bullet injuries and was in hospital, said a statement released by Interim Prime Minister Claude Joseph’s office.
The president faced steep opposition from swathes of the population that deemed his mandate illegitimate, and he churned through a series of seven prime ministers in four years. Joseph was slated to be replaced this week after only three months in the post.
So, the logical suspect to face scrutiny would by Claude Joseph.
