What was the point, then? I don't get it. If he said "Bi-dumb", I'd get it. Or "bye-done". (Or Bye-Don", which is what happened, because he never bothered to secure the elections, knowing they'd cheat, but that's another story)

I would think that the Republican politicians, being the opportunists that they are, would be using this issue to raise funds and suck up to their base. Even if they weren’t sincere, it would be an opportunity to show that they care.
But no. They are cowards above all else. Political expediency. No establishment Republican wants to rock the boat. There are a handful of Republicans who are fighters. The rest are pathetic.

All of the others were merely exercising their 1st Amendment rights and should be released. Those should also have the right to sue the government for illegal detention.

I saw a list of 532 people and dozens were arrested on grounds of “curfew violation” since they slapped a 6 pm curfew on Washington DC suddenly on January 6th.
