A former New York administrative judge resigned and apologized Friday over a Halloween costume he wore in 1988 of “a well-known public figure of color,” according to a press release.
Former administrative judge Craig Doran said he resigned as administrative judge for the Rochester region when a photo from a Halloween party reportedly was circulated. The statement didn’t say who Doran dressed up as.
“I did not comprehend at the time the hurtful nature of my actions,” Doran said in a statement. “I know now that an act of this nature is considered to be racist. I can assure you that this event in 1988 in no way reflects my beliefs and principles.”

Just because he’s a Republican doesn’t mean he is a conservative. It is Rochester, NY, after all. But, he is a milquetoast and a pantywaist and a hangdog and we need to change this subculture of the Republican Party. I don’t see how this spineless character was ever a judge.

It's come back to haunt me, though. My 10 YO grandson is playing baseball this summer, and his jersey number is 24. I thought it was because of all those great stories and recollections I had of Willie. He set me straight: he's wearing #24, because that's Corey Kispert's number, his favorite Gonzaga basketball player.
BTW, Corey is likely to be a lottery pick in the upcoming draft. He'll be one of the few reasons why I'll watch the NBA, as he joins fellow Zags such as Kelly Olynyk and Jalen Suggs in the pros.

Judge don’t get it. He can never purge his racism based on crt. Racism is an inherent property of whiteness if crt is correct.
Judge needs a psych exam. Something greater is in play. Like he was bribed long time ago or is a severely depraved individual....
This judge is being forced out for something else. Little too Bidensy with children maybe? Rule against one of the democrats?
He is forced to resign, but the Governor of Virginia is a okay?

The Governor of Virginia can moonwalk so he’s ok. He’s also in favor of when a baby is born making it comfortable and figuring out if you want to kill the baby. So that apparently makes him politically untouchable.
The VA Governor WAS going to be forced to resign, but when it came out his Lt Governor was a rapist, they changed their minds and let him stay (and since the Lt Gov was a Black Demonrat, they let him stay, too). Gotta love that Demonrat privilege.
