“Some of the fireworks were being stored in our bomb squad trailer as a precautionary measure. Unknown at this time what caused the explosion,” the LAPD said on Twitter.

Crime totally out of control and these tools are worried about fireworks?
not going to put a dent in the illegal fireworks trade, if you really want to you can drive to new mexico and buy them by the side of the road.
In NH all fireworks are legal. Even the big ones like they have at municipal shows.
The best part is the stores are all located within a stones throw from the MA border. In MA, all fireworks are illegal.
The town of Jaffrey, NH actually has the best fireworks show around because it is the home of the Atlas Fireworks factory. People come from all around NH & MA to watch their show in Old Jaffrey Days in August.
Fireworks should be handled only by professionals. /s/s/s/s/
“Clouseau?”
OK it seems that per LAPD reports that they found coke can sized IED’s and some smaller stuff that was put into the bomb squad truck, the fireworks were already off site.
that is nice.. its been illegal in calif for i don’t know how long, but that does not stop them from going off, at night. the 4th its like a war zone around my area, we all sit outside and watch the show
In the wrong hands on Fourth of July weekend, fireworks could potentially lead to spontaneous, random outbreaks of patriotism.
One would think that if you had 5000 lb of fireworks in a truck you would at leas soak it down with water first.
OH WAIT! California is in a drought! Oh well, just pi_s on it.

Sledge?
Sledge Hammer!
Is that you???
Good thing the cops confiscated them, there might have been an accident….oh wait…there was.
Seriously, they should be locking up illegals, not Roman Candles, bottle rockets, and sparklers.
Juneteenth is too big a holiday to last just one day! 😉
What show is that? I must have missed it.
I seldom watched TV, but this was one I enjoyed.
Sledge Hammer! Opening and Closing Theme 1986 - 1988
https://youtu.be/KGAubZ71fXY
Hammer drives a beat-up, bullet-riddled, lime green Dodge St. Regis with an “I ♥ VIOLENCE” bumper sticker.
According to many of his fellow detectives, he “makes Dirty Harry look like Mr. Peepers.”
He believes in shooting first and asking questions never.
Sledge also mentions that his favorite charity is “Toy Guns for Tots”.
He is often suspended from duty, over such infractions as firing warning shots at jaywalkers; his police file requires three wheelbarrows to transport.
Hammer’s most prized possession is his .44 Magnum Smith & Wesson Model 629 revolver (a stainless steel version of the Smith & Wesson Model 29)

I didn’t have a TV in those years, so no surprise I missed it. I’m sure I would have enjoyed it; I definitely like Archer.
