“Senator Bill Cassidy (R-LA) said Sunday on NBC’s “Meet the Press” said that he expected Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) would support the bipartisan infrastructure deal.
On the deal he helped negotiate, Cassidy said, “It is going to provide the infrastructure that the American people want that they need. That’ll make our country prosperous for all Americans.”

The amount the feral government spends has absolutely nothing to do with tax revenue.

McConnell is a political animal and knows without election integrity the balance of power doesn’t exist anymore.

Cassidy ought just to hop along into one of those canals there, float along to the Gulf and disappear. He is useless.
I got a new idea (though it’s been proposed before) every bill voted on by congress can only be a few pages long . No massive spending bills, every part has to be voted separately . They have no other job besides voting on bills so who cares if this takes longer ? Keeps them out of trouble
Exactly. Spending and taxation are completely decoupled...it’s surreal.
Remember when Democrats worked hard with Republicans to get legislative wins for Trump? Or, for that matter, when Republicans worked hard for Trump’s legislation? Yeah, me neither.
