Nikki Haley is seeking a course-correction after a falling out with Trump World earlier this year left her isolated from some top conservatives.
The former U.S. ambassador to the United Nations will headline the Iowa GOP’s annual Lincoln Dinner in Des Moines on Thursday, the latest step in a months-long effort to rehabilitate her image in conservative circles after criticizing former President Trump over the Jan. 6 riot.
Since then, she has endorsed female Republican candidates, met with House conservatives on Capitol Hill and praised Trump publicly — all the while fueling speculation that she’s planning to mount her own bid for the White House.

I’m not the smartest man the world, but if there is ONE thing I am pretty damn sure about, Trump is NOT a “forgive and forget” type of person.
He’s more the type to nurse a grudge until it dies of old age, and then mount it on the wall just to remind himself that you don’t give second chances to people who burn you intentionally.

I was all-in to support her until I discovered, as many others have, that Sometimes Right is not good enough.
Her statement that We should have never followed him was the end of her career. She should go away quietly.
You really need to post that moniker over on the conservative tree house. It will stick to Nikki better than “Low Energy” stuck to Jeb. It is that good. From there it will get legs and you will see it used on TV because a lot of shows use it for show prep and from there on out she will be known as Nikki McRomBush. Hits like this only work when they are true. This is truth distilled to its pure essence.

I never understood the adulation this worm got from people here on FR who should know better. This woman oozes “GOP Establishment” from her very pores.
If she’s the answer to 2024, then it was a stupid question.
I never trusted that woman. She was running a distant 3rd place dead last, with little name recognition. Palin came and held a rally with her and she shot up to #1 within a few days, and went on to win her race. When asked if she owed anything to Palin, she said “no, I owe her nothing”. She went on to claim that her jump from a distant last place to 1st place was all her own doing and had nothing to do with the huge rally Palin generated for her.
Then when she started the orgy of ripping down Confederate flags in 2015, I had nothing but disgust for her. When Trump appointed her UN ambassador I thought he made a big mistake inviting that viper into his administration.
