The Supreme Court’s Day of Reckoning is Coming

The election of 2020 is going to lay bare the dereliction of the Supreme Court for all to see. The COVD-19 pandemic gave numerous state election officials an excuse to implement far-reaching changes to our election processes. Those changes obviously made our systems vulnerable to fraud. States implemented massive mail-in balloting at the same time they relaxed ballot security and voter identification. They even extended the voting periods -- to give the criminals more time to commit their fraud.

All these changes were unconstitutional. The Constitution clearly gives the various state legislatures the authority to define how their elections will be conducted -- not state election officials. Election officials are only empowered to conduct elections within the rules set forth by their respective legislatures -- except, apparently, during a pandemic. There must be a pandemic emanation hidden in a penumbra of the Constitution we didn’t know about. Alarmed that the changes would invite fraud, various organizations filed lawsuits to stop the changes.

The Supreme Court declined to get involved. It ruled that the plaintiffs lacked standing because nobody had been harmed -- yet. Since the election hadn’t happened, nobody was damaged, and there was no case to be heard. They were thinking like a civil court, not the defenders of the Constitution they are sworn to be. It was a cowardly way to stay out of the political controversy. Unfortunately, it also missed an opportunity to defend the Constitution, which was clearly under attack.

"There is an overload of things that are profoundly wrong."

And he's described in a book we all know. The beautiful jealous one, stripped of his great post, exiled and seeking retribution through us.

I’m one of those who was very wary of the court cases surrounding the 2020 election.

Under our constitution we have three branches of government with their own clearly defined powers. Getting the U.S. Supreme Court involved in a presidential election is rarely ever a good idea and sets a very bad precedent. I said so in 2000 and I didn’t change my mind in 2020. Quite honestly, I have less confidence in Federal courts than in almost any institution in the U.S. today.

Placing the blame for the 2020 election fiasco on the Supreme Court obscures the fact that the real culprits were the state legislatures that allowed their own election laws to be openly violated without so much as a timid protest. Watching some of them run around today and sanctimoniously call for audits of the election process — long after it really mattered — is nauseating.

“real culprits were the state legislatures that allowed their own election laws to be openly violated”

City and state politicians are easier to corrupt than federal ones, I believe.

Are you kidding?! All levels of governments and many other public and private institutions are corrupt and bereft of common sense, won over by the constant drip drip drip of leftist thinking = stinking thinking.

It sure has. We always knew roberts could be compromised. Was on display after the election. Now when the total evidence of fraud comes out and it’s proven the election belongs to Trump then something will come in front of them. I don’t see them reversing anything or decertifying anything, even if they could. Maybe the kick it back to state legislature and give them the power.

I know the people of America will be watching and looking to them to do something. If the lawyers that bring it to them have the case air tight and use the constitution it will make it rough. The SCOTUS will be looking for a reason to not get involved.

Historians will trace the end of our republic and the beginning of the official oligarchy when SCOTUS refused to do their job and said NO ONE in America had standing in Berg vs. Obama. That’s what led to this additional travesty.

It’s all over for this Country as a Constitutional Republic. ~Leo Donofrio, 12/14/08

I’m not placing blame for The Steal on the court.

I’m placing the blame for their not stopping the steal on the court.

Whether by intent and/or due to threat, SCOTUS is compromised.

And if we are able to restore the republic, unless they all resign, and I mean all of them, we’re going to have find a way to deal with that.

There was nothing the U.S. Supreme Court could do about the election once the Electoral College results were certified in mid-December. The Constitution is very clear about how the President is elected.

Once the electoral votes were certified and counted in December 2020, any action the Supreme Court took would be blatantly unconstitutional.

All of those swing states with Republican legislatures should have simply voted to send two slates of electors -- or NO electors -- to Congress. The January 6th vote in Congress is specifically intended to address a situation like that.

All they needed to do was agree to hear the cases. Sunlight is an excellent disinfectant.

Meanwhile, from CO this time, more proof Deep State is settling in for the long haul...

The Court of Supreme Whim has been making Cosmic Justice decisions since 1807. Politicians LIKE the Court having The final say . Avoiding controversy means winning elections for them. One zany decision even led to Civil War! ( Dred Scott). After over 200 years of this self annoited abuse of power the only possible way it is going to checked would be an Article V Convention of States . One has never happened because too many cowards are afraid of its power.

Until after the election. Then it declined to hear the cases for what reason? Too late? Moot?
