The election of 2020 is going to lay bare the dereliction of the Supreme Court for all to see. The COVD-19 pandemic gave numerous state election officials an excuse to implement far-reaching changes to our election processes. Those changes obviously made our systems vulnerable to fraud. States implemented massive mail-in balloting at the same time they relaxed ballot security and voter identification. They even extended the voting periods -- to give the criminals more time to commit their fraud.
All these changes were unconstitutional. The Constitution clearly gives the various state legislatures the authority to define how their elections will be conducted -- not state election officials. Election officials are only empowered to conduct elections within the rules set forth by their respective legislatures -- except, apparently, during a pandemic. There must be a pandemic emanation hidden in a penumbra of the Constitution we didn’t know about. Alarmed that the changes would invite fraud, various organizations filed lawsuits to stop the changes.
The Supreme Court declined to get involved. It ruled that the plaintiffs lacked standing because nobody had been harmed -- yet. Since the election hadn’t happened, nobody was damaged, and there was no case to be heard. They were thinking like a civil court, not the defenders of the Constitution they are sworn to be. It was a cowardly way to stay out of the political controversy. Unfortunately, it also missed an opportunity to defend the Constitution, which was clearly under attack.

If we manage to restore the republic, what in Hades do we do about compromised justices who have their seats for life...

Actually, now that I think about it, corruption is the least scary prospect.
Far worse...any justices refusing to go along could be under house arrest, have loved ones held under house arrest...

Anyone else wondering who none of them have resigned?
Considering we no longer have a republic and all.
Do they have a choice..?
When you have a job for life and no way to throw them out you have corruption
all lives end... some in mysterious ways!
The most important thing is that all vote counts.
The NEXT vote apparently, not the previous vote where the people who wrote the current laws were elected.
The votes of the people who voted in the last election can be disposed of on a whim, and laws changed by political appointees and people wearing black robes.
I have tremendous respect for Clarence Thomas. Of all the justices now on the bench, I think he is the best. And I understand, under normal circumstances, how any justice would place value on “respecting the institution” and would be reluctant to air any dirty laundry.
But in these extraordinary times, it would be really great if Thomas could come out and say, “It’s clear that Roberts is owned by someone. His actions are suspicious, and the things he says in private make it clear that, to him, the outcome of many cases have been predetermined for political reasons.”

That assumes Thomas is free to act.
I would no longer make that assumption.
Understood. He is not acting. Therefore it may certainly be true that he is not free to act.
But I don’t understand why an old solid Christian man would feel constrained to act. Yes, they can threaten his family but even then — we are all going to die, we are all going to be judged. Threaten my family? Maybe I’m a beast but, speaking personally, it wouldn’t slow me down.
The truth is trickled out drip by drip......
.....but it will turn into a gusher!......
Sometimes it takes a beast. Especially if your hostages to fortune are children.
My God, if Deep State really is threatening children, we won’t get the republic back through the ballot box.

Perhaps Thomas is weary fighting the good fight......
....the absolute best you can do is PRAY for him......
