Food Prices Soar Under Biden as Industry Leader Issues Dire Warning: 'There's Still More to Come'

The next time you’re shopping for groceries or taking in a meal at the local cafe, keep an eye out for newly raised prices.

Companies from Chipotle to Piggly Wiggly are raising prices in an effort to make up for elevated costs in labor, goods and transportation, according to The Wall Street Journal.

It’s just the latest inconvenience brought about by the real Biden Effect: Rampant inflation and ever-increasing costs.

Consumer prices flew upward by five percent in May, marking the highest rate of inflation since the Great Recession.

Now, the increasing costs of everyday necessities like food threaten to combine with that runaway inflation to the serious detriment of everyday Americans.

“Quite frankly, we’re not done with all the pricing actions that we need to take,” Hormel CEO Jim Snee told The Wall Street Journal in explaining the company’s raising of prices on everything from peanut butter to Spam. “There’s still more to come.”

The squeeze on Americans’ wallets seemingly isn’t pricing anyone out of food yet, but those with bigger families and grocery bills ought to prepare the best they can for a continued hardship.

The new hardship is an unfortunate fact of the Biden administration’s terrible domestic policies, which Ohio Sen. Michael Rulli concisely pointed out.

“Inflation is a tax on American families,” Rulli said.

Do the Dem voters get tingly sensations up their leg thinking about the exciting Biden-Harris socialist takeover?

Maybe they’ll have a new feeling, sticker shock.

These stupid young liberals with kids are probably too dense to connect the dots. I’ve never seen such incredibly stupid humans in my life.

Hope the Rats feel triple pain for their utter stupidity in voting for Sleepy and cabal. They told them what they will do if ‘selected’ and they have delivered the bads. President Trump’s nice economy those Rats didn’t deserve anyway. Stolen elections have consequences.

“Inflation is a tax on American families” -- Ohio Sen. Michael Rulli

Biden and Co. are gunning for our life savings. Between the capital gains tax hikes, the loss of capital asset basis repricing at current market, and inflation, we are going to get wiped out. Severely wiped out.

Agreed. With no real push-back. 16 months of accepted slavery. They could drain the bank accounts of those who have money sitting there, and no one would do shit to them. Oh sure, the keyboard warriors would bitch and moan. But punish the politicians? Fat chance!!!

I'd have put them back. But I have my own weakness... have you seen the cost of a Chunky lately?

That tingling is going to turn into a warm trickle down their leg.

Always save your meat drippings and boil the bones for broth. Pick every last bit of meat off bones. Most of our protein purchases are now down to chicken and eggs. More bean and rice meals.

Learn to cook to save tons from eating out. No one needs to give Starbucks $5 every day. Same goes for McD’s or Taco Bell 5 days a week for lunch or a $$$$$ steak place every Saturday night.

After nearly every meal, there is something that can be reused. Freeze the excess flour or cornmeal from frying chicken or fish for next time. Or turn the cornmeal mixture into hush puppies. Make savory pancakes from the chicken batter. Strain the oil to reuse or make gravy with that flour mixture.

Don’t drain the vegetables down the drain. Save the liquid in a large freezer container that can be added to. That’s “free” veg broth.

Give that last spoon of whatever leftover to the dog. Or freeze it in a continual freezer container for a soup or casserole or pasta dish. Or top a pizza with little bits of this and that. Or wisely combine the week’s leftovers into empanadas or meat/veg pies or quiche.

Try those canned beets in a beet salad for something different or process them into a chocolate cake. Use the liquid in a white cake to turn it pink. Same idea with those last two carrots in the fridge - salad or cake.

Too ripe bananas = cake. Can’t eat the still yellow bananas quick enough? Stick them on popsicle sticks, dip them in chocolate, add sprinkles and freeze them for treats. Or make a smoothie.

Bottom line is not to let even a spoonful of food get tossed into the garbage. That’s money thrown away.

Biden voters should all be cheering and clapping their hands. Just like the trained seal fcukwits who clapped and went “ork ork ork” when Obama said in a San Francisco speech that “your electricity rates are necessarily going to skyrocket.” Yay! Whoopee!

Shrink-flation is here. Clorox container much smaller. Coffee container shrank from 30.4 oz to 24 oz and price rose by a buck. Grocery prices rising quickly.

Thought about replacing the wood on my deck...think I’ll wait awhile. Good grief...building materials skyrocketing.

These leftist are insane.
