House Speaker Nancy Pelosi on Tuesday doubled down on the need to pass the For the People Act despite the election overhaul legislation suffering a big setback over the weekend with moderate Democrat Sen. Joe Manchin vowing to oppose the bill.
Pelosi said there's an "urgent" need to pass the election legislation, known as H.R. 1 in the House and S. 1 in the Senate, because of voter suppression efforts by the GOP at the state level.
"We are at [an] urgent moment because of the Republican assault on our Democracy," Pelosi said Tuesday in a letter to her Democratic colleagues. "By contrast, Congressional Democrats have brilliantly and patriotically proposed legislation to respect the sanctity of our Democracy."

You can bet the bank if Nancy Pelosi is pushing for H.R. 1 it will not help the people, but will give more power to the likes of Pelosi....
Pelosi’s assault on our Constitution began with her submission of a fraudulent nomination form attesting that Obama was a natural born citizen, which curiously she only submitted to Hawaii.
The nomination forms to the other 49 states omitted that language.
We know that anything supported by Pelosi and Schumer are bad for the United States and good for their Democrat socialism.

I meet more people every day who share my nagging suspicion that Her Highness Nancy Pelosi is behind everything we’ve been through over the past year and a half.
After all, all it really takes to get a pandemic going is a few of your old pals in the WHO and the CDC who hate Donald Trump as much as you do making dire predictions, aided and abetted by your always-compliant congressional colleagues and an army of Democrat media you pretty much own outright.
Nancy certainly seems like the kind of person who would fire up a worldwide crisis just because Donald Trump injured her massive ego.
They are clearly very afraid.
Her very existence in public office is an affront to decency and our Republic. Tolerance of Pelosi and ones like her has been a yuge mistake and will possibly lead to the total downfall of our freedoms.

Pelousy and her fellow Demonrats are HELL bent on packing not just the courts but the country with people who believe taxing “the rich” will ensure they can spend their lives sucking off the government tit.

Hell let here. She needs to be subpoenaed first since she is in charge of Capital Hill security. She needs to testify on:
Why she ignored pleas from Trump before the riot for more security?
Why she didn’t do anything when the cops demanded more security during the riot?
Why she put up fencing after the riot and had no fortification before the riot?
Why ANTIFA rioters still have not been rounded up as well as the DNC relationship with the terrorist organization?
And then who gave the orderrs for them to stand down?
