At least 60 members of Congress from both parties have been unable to access data for weeks in the latest ransomware attack to strike the United States.
The target was iConstituent, a tech vendor that provides constituent outreach services to dozens of House offices, including a newsletter service that allows lawmakers to communicate with residents in their districts and a service to track constituent casework.
It's the latest cyber attack after a series of hacks against the US executive branch and American companies have left many institutions feeling vulnerable and the Biden administration struggling to deal with the situation.
The Office of the Chief Administrative Officer, which handles IT security for the House of Representatives, said there was 'no impact' on overall House data and it was working with the company to resolve the situation.

We should, a la Trump’s joke, ask the Red Chinese to tell us who the “Russian Collusion” Democrats are in Congress.
Then we ask Putin’s Moldavian Beetfield hackers to tell us who in Congress is either on Red China’s payroll (through cut-outs) or are just plain sympathetic to them.

Yesterday, on Dan Bongino’s radio show (Rush Limbaugh’s time slot) he mentioned 800 people arrested and didn’t go into details or didn’t have them. I was not home much to hear primetime news, so I searched using “800 arrested June 8, 2021 and found more info, noting no known media other than NPR. Sorry I don’t know how to link, etc.
It mentions some are officials (it didn’t mention USA or what type of officials), and is massive. I am hoping that there is a connection to these congress officials and that that is why their databases are “ransomed” and is by the FBI. I guess we will see—if a lot of panic is going on that would be a clue.
The fact that there exists BILLIONS of solar systems and planets in our universe is being used to claim that life MUST be out there: somewhere.
